Bills Garden is a staple Chinese restaurant in south Minneapolis because of their repeatable quality of service and yummy food. Their prices are reasonable and I always leave with leftovers! I love their combination platters and their chicken friend rice. Their sesame chicken and orange chicken are my go to orders but my partner loves their beef dishes as well. If you're ever hankering for some Chinese food I highly recommend Bills!

Bill's Garden is a nice little neighborhood spot for American Chinese food. I'm giving this 3/5 stars as it is good but not anything special. We've gotten it a few times for the convenience and it is kind of just meh at times. I will say the House Fried rice was very good, same with the cream cheese wontons. I've had better orange and sesame chicken elsewhere. Service is fast and friendly. They did short us 1 cream cheese wonton our last visit, though.

Ive heard great things about this place and while waiting 40 mins I noticed over a dozen patrons and phone ringing non stop as well as a line of door dash orders. Well here is my experience; The guy taking my order was in his 2nd day but very helpful, kind and friendly. The chow mein was the best part of this meal. Cant say im a fan of this style of friend chicken, it had a fried donut like batter or whats on most sweet n sour chicken breading. The rest was a bit flavorless. The star of the show is the chili oil. If i could buy a jar I would.

We visited this spot based on the "best fried rice in the Twin Cities" claim we saw on social media. Honestly, we see why that title was thrown out there! We tried the pork fried rice and sesame chicken. This was hands down the most flavorful fried rice I've tried. The sesame chicken came with the sauce on the side, and we appreciated it. This made air frying the leftovers a much cleaner process and gave us crispier leftovers than expected. Note: this appears to primarily, if not only, serve for takeout.

Great customer service! Amazing food! I got the number 10 and an order of wontons. Wontons have more wonton wrap than cream cheese but it's the perfect combo with your food.

Placed an online order which included 3 spring rolls $5.95. Only 2 arrived. Got a credit for 1.64 which is less than expected. Delivery, tax, mandatory tip and fees were $11.02 on a $19.90 check so not worth the trouble.

70.00 for two is close price point for a sit down above average restaurant in mpls. I ordered takeout for that price and would had be happy if 1. I received all the items that I ordered 2. food was prepared as I requested medium spice level not so spicy hot that was not able to enjoy any favors, I can't imagine what hot would had tasted completely blow out your taste buds. 3 i trusted others recent reviews that drove my decision to drive 25 minutes to patronize restaurant for pickup. Finding out that I was missing item called Bill Garden to report but was told if I was sure item was missing and they don't offer refunds only a credit, and by the way when I do call to order additional food in future mention the missing item. Still gave a two stars because I would like to think it was a off day. Who knows ???

I made a special trip to try this place based on good reviews. I am always looking for great old school American Chinese food. My experience boils down to: - Excellent front of house person.- Egg rolls were not great. Or good. Not gross, but below average in size and goodness especially considering the cost. - Fried rice is not as amazing as it might seem from reviews. My box was not over stuffed. There was no notable smoky taste (or wok hei) from a well seasoned wok. Chicken bits looked like actual poultry animal grade and were politely present, if not ample. Good. Not incredible, or a good value. - Expensive!- Weirdest hot and sour soup ever. Why is it pink? A half portion of strange goo for the same price as better versions in larger portions. Just...no. If I lived very nearby I would figure out what I really liked from there, and probably hit it occaisionally. However, I live far away and it was nowhere near destination grade. My local spot and Bill's simply trade off on what is good or bad.
