Stopped in while on the way to Grandview and had to get a beer. I had their Hefeweizen and it was descent, not my favorite but a middle of the road beer. Their outdoor space is nice with multiple tables and even a cornhole setup. Seemed a little slow due to off peak times up north but a nice brewery.

I popped in for a flight. The beers weren't bad but I felt they were all hop forward, so I wasn't really a fan. Not bad beers, just not my preferred style. I will definitely stop in again when in the area to try their current offerings. It is a great little tap room and deck. Cheers

Great place to stop and get a quick bite and a fresh cold beer!Got the Big Axe Classic and it was delicious, especially with the side of coleslaw!!! What was even better was washing it down with a nice cold sour beer. If your in the area, stop in!

Got the vapor lake hazy IPA and really enjoyed it. Also ordered two kids chicken tender meals, $9 each comes with two tenders, fries, and a root beer, cream soda or juice box. We also ordered the cheese curds. Honestly not a big fan of the food, seemed like premade frozen items fried up. The beer was good though! Came on a rainy day so we were stuck with indoor seating and it's not the best ambiance inside. Order at the counter and they deliver to your table. No table side service.

Grabbed dinner here and was surprised with some great live outdoor music as well. The food was good. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

I was looking for a brew put with some food when in Nisswa. I just got a strange vibe when I was there. Had a couple of beers, they were ok, nothing great. No true west coast IPA. Maybe they think it is cliche. I don't remember what I had for food but it was meh and I didn't finish it. I think wings. Skip those.

Fun brewery off of 371 on Main Street. The Rueben sandwich lunch was perfection. The Fish & Chips were very good (hard crispy fried-how I like it). Not only do they offer great brews, they also create non-alcohol drinks: Cream Ale and Root Beer. Both were superb-my friendly barkeep allowed me a sample of both, which really made it hard to decide on only one. This brewery isn't far off from the Paul Bunyan Multi-use Trail. Next time we come for lunch, I'm bicycling here! Bike racks not far from patio area!

Nice little brewery/restaurant! I had the chicken tacos and they hit the spot. Prices were a little higher but not outrageous. My tacos were $13. They have some fun seltzers too if you don't particularly want beer! You order and pay at a counter and they bring you the food.

Stayed in town and decided to check this place out. Beer was mediocre, but it was the service that was horrible. Ordered a flight and 3 of the 4 beers were just ok. One was so bad it was undrinkable. We also ordered food. While waiting for food, we finished with the flight. I brought our flight board to the bar (with the full glass) and before I could even say a word, they took the board and cleared it and moved to the next person in line. If a customer brings a full glass to the bar, wouldn't you at least ask the question of what was going on? Our food arrived after 30 minutes and was nothing special. There are much better places in the area to go.

Absolutely must stop at and eat. Food is unbelievable...wife had the chicken melt and I had the beet trout salad. Wow! Beer is also outstanding as well. Those who give bad reviews must be entitled or something because Big Axe is worth a stop!!!
