Bester Bros Moving & Storage

Used Bester Brothers to move from Minneapolis out to San Francisco after I found them on Angie's List. Apparently this is the shadiest of all shady industries as searching for movers via Google will attest to. Fortunately, these guys are totally above the board and were terrific with our move. Aaron and his team of two packed our entire house in a single day and I would say did a better job that I ever would have in packaging our stuff. Other than a slight snafu where they didn't realize we needed a parking permit for the moving van on the SF receiving end, everything went far smoother than I could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend them for making such a stressful event very not stressful for us.

We have used these guys three different times to move locally. They have never been anything short of professional, courteous and patient. This last move was nothing less than delightful. We were less prepared as we lost some time cleaning up after a flood in our basement. Even in the chaos, our movers were everything we expect from Bester Brothers!

Our first time using movers, and we had no idea what to expect. Wow. We were impressed. A nice sales guy came ahead to check out our house to give us an estimate. The day of the move, the truck pulled up promptly at 8am. The three movers were wonderful. Speedy beyond belief. Very careful with furniture and walls. If/when we move again, Beater Bros of So St Paul will be getting our business again. A+ guys!

Had an estimator come out last week and do a walk through the house. Said he'll email an estimate the next day. Two business days later, no estimate and no boxes for packing! We were told the estimator is out on vacation this week and he's the ONLY ONE who has access to said estimate... What? Were told that he may check his messages on occasion. So far, not at all promising.

Just finished a complicated set of moves. Can't say enough about these guys. Closing down a house where we lived for over 25 years, putting things into storage and two temporary residences, then finally to a hew house... We expected it to be pure hell but these guys handled it like clockwork even rearranging things several times while my wife made up her mind. When it came time to settle up we were charged exactly what we expected. No surprises. Thanks John and crew.

Moved recently -- best moving company I've dealt with. Very professional, did an excellent job in moving our stuff. Efficient and courteous. Very careful in handling our items. Very knowledgeable in what to take and to place it on our truck. Couldn't be happier and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company!

Beater Bros was recommended to be by my mom's senior living facility. We moved her entire apartment downstairs to a different unit as her care needs have changed. My husband and I did all the packing, but we needed help with sofas, dressers, bed etc. They quoted me a "by the hour" price. I was a bit worried that they would be as slow and "slacker-ish" as other local movers, but they were GREAT. They HUSTLED. They were done in 1.5 hours, and they were careful as well as speedy. They were also courteous, arrived on time (early, actually) and I will use them again and again. Such nice guys!

My first move in 32 years - I was nervous and stressed. A team of three husky, friendly, competent young men showed up and did a wonderful job - right up to leveling the headboard they fastened to the wall and arranging furniture. We closed both houses in the same morning, and they were very conscious of our time constraints. I'd recommend Bester Bros. to anyone.

If I could I'd not give them one star. This company sucks at packing. I'm military and I moved from Minnesota to Cali, and they did a horrible job packing. They packed everything so wrong that all of my furniture got scratched my 500 dls bikes got all scratched all if my fake plants were packed in one box that of all of them lost 50% of their leaves. My new furniture got sractched really bad. The worse part is that they bring teens to pack and load everything. I do not recommend them at all worse packing company.

Flexible, Professional, Efficient and Very Nice - our closing date was a moving target and caused a lot of stress, but luckily Bester Bros was there for us no matter what. Their flexible, quick, and calm response was so welcomed and made the move go so smooth. They took what could have been another stressful situation (moving a family with 4 kids) and made it totally stress-free. Their price was right too... they had a competitive quote that was same or a little below others (when doing an apples to apples bid)... and their final invoice was a little below their quote. The moving crew was fantastic too. They were friendly and efficient plus we had some interesting new corners they navigated flawlessly. The only bummer is that they moved an old IKEA desk that we wanted to leave/trash, but I forgot to label it accordingly so it made the move (as we weren't at our old house for the entire pack).
