Beedle's Bar & Restaurant

Beedle's Bar & Restaurant does two things very well: food and service. I have had many meals here, and all of them were delicious. I'm not sure if the folks making the food are chefs or cooks, but the dishes they send out of the kitchen are done perfectly. On a related topic, kudos to Beedle's for letting the customer choose at the soup and salad bar. The offerings are fresh, appealing, and seasonal. The service, too, is exceptional. The staff is friendly, well trained, and professional. Whether you gather in the bar or in the restaurant, you won't be disappointed at Beedle's Bar & Restaurant. You will need reservations, though; this place is really popular.

After searching Ron Faiola's WI supper club list, we made reservations at Beedle's and it was a good thing we did. The dining room and bar filled up fast!We had a booth in the dimly lit dining room. Our server, Tori, was okay, but if we go back in the future we'd definitely request a table in Jacob's section. He was far more informative about the menu and specials (it was like pulling teeth with Tori), was very friendly, and checked in/cleared some plates a couple times when he was passing by. Beedle's salad bar was an average size. We avoided the iceberg lettuce as a lot of it was brown, and went with romaine instead, but they had a good selection of salad toppings as well as potato salad, coleslaw, beets, etc. The salad bar also offered a Moroccan stew for the night.The Coulee Combo appetizer was big, and contained deep fried mushrooms, onion rings and cheese curds. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was seriously the most bland cosmo I've had. I don't know if they were running low on lime juice and cranberry juice, but it was one sad drink.For entrees we both had the prime rib and it was magnificent. You pretty much didn't need a knife it was that tender, and the seasoning was just right. We wrapped up our meal by sharing a Brandy Alexander and it was daunting in size and tasted delightful.To close, make reservations, request Jacob as your server, watch out for that iceberg lettuce & avoid the cosmopolitan, and order the prime rib and an ice cream drink for dessert!!

A welcoming environment with an amazing staff in middle of rural Wisconsin. The salad bar is worth trip. Ribs are always amazing.

Great food and drink! I thought I had been transported back to the 70's. The service was phenomenal. They have dozens of martinis and the ones we tried were marvelous. Tragically, they ran out of prime rib when I was there so I had steak tips and a lobster tail. And for the price we got a lot of food and drink. I think the prices are reasonable. Ambience is old school which adds to the charm. It's not anything fancy, but makes you yearn for the good old days.

Excellent food, terrific service, friendly people. We'll be back. We had the turkey sandwich, the cheese curds, and the bruschetta. Delicious!

I would give no stars if possible. The food is extremely expensive and horrible. The service was ok, except for 2 issues. My glass was cracked and the server just poured my drink into another glass. My spouse ordered a drink and was given a "tall" but was never asked if that's what he wanted. I would not recommend this place to anyone; it's more bar than restaurant.

We stopped at Beedle's to have a drink on our way to a different restaurant for dinner. After one drink we decided to stay... the service at the bar was outstanding. , and the specials were enticing enough to make us forget we had prior reservations. We had the grouper special with asparagus and hollandaise, and the 14oz prime rib, which is offered five nights a week, and added an additional serving of pan-fried walleye. The food was exceptional. The grouper and walleye were among the best we've ever had. The prime rib was seasoned perfectly, came with their own creamy horseradish, and cooked to perfection... not too fatty but just the right ratio. All you can eat salad bar and soup, bread is included, and for dessert our server Max personally made a chocolate cake with ganache, whipped cream and ice cream. I want to come here again and again... this family run establishment was well worth the 3 hour drive from Milwaukee. Will definitely be telling everyone I know to come here.

We've eaten here several times. Never been disappointed. Prime rib is always cooked perfectly and great salad bar. Excellent service. Not a noisy bar with a lot of loud music. Just quiet background music.Prime Rib is some of the best in the area.

From the excellent salad bar including soup to the warm bread to the flavorful prime rib, it was right on point. I can rave enough regarding the food service and clean atmosphere!!!' Try it you will not be disappointed!

You know, this unfortunately is a dying breed, the classic Wisconsin supper club. A good old fashion, locals sitting at the bar, super friendly service, soup and salad bar, and outstanding food. We arrived at 5 for 6 o'clock reservation, found our table already ready, told the hostess we wanted a drink at the bar, no problem was her response, enjoy. So, I ordered the prime rib and my wife ordered a tuna steak medium rare with some trepidation. Surprise, surprise her tuna arrived medium rare, amazing that two thirds of the restaurants we eat at can't even get that close to right. Of course my prime rib was spot on. Nicest part is they concentrated on quality over quantity. The sides were perfectly portioned and very tasty. Just enough but not to much and the salad bar was well stocked and everything was fresh. We'll be back!
