Be Wild Burgers

Really solid little place but I just can't get to a 5-star review for a carry-out place with a limited menu. That said, I can most assuredly recommend the place very highly! Stopped in for a burger towards the end of lunch service on a Wednesday. Place is too small to have indoor seating so there are picnic tables towards the back of the parking lot behind the place. Ambiance ain't why you come here - its the flattop griddled smashed burgers, for sure. I went with their onion burger. It looked like enough so I passed on a fried side. Glad I did because it was a generous burger and loaded with toppings.Onion burger is described on the menu as "Oklahoma style, grilled onions, French onion aioli, swiss cheese & Funyons." No idea what Oklahoma-style means but it sure was delicious! I likely would have asked for a different cheese had I spotted the fact it was Swiss (not a fan) but didn't and the burger was nothing short of amazing! Not sure what decade it was when I last ate a Funyon but it fit better in the burger than I remember them as a snack. Big flavor, handed to me within maybe 30 seconds of being cooked and really, really good.

This place is what Five Guys aspires to be! The burgers were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! It's a family owned restaurant and you could really feel that in the atmosphere and quality of service!

Was driving through this town and saw this tiny little spot. Figured this would be an experience, so I slowed down and turned around. While it's a small little place with walk up ordering and with only a few outdoor seating, the food packed a punch. I'll start with the main event. The flamethrower burger was delicious, just mouth wateringly delicious. I wanted another immediately. It's got the heat as would expected but it's manageable, by no means is it that obnoxious heat. Patty was hot and juicy with melted cheese and crisp yet soft bun. Man now I want another. Curds were as expected. For some reason they covered them in salt after they are pulled from the fryer. Now that may be a local thing since curds are the state staple. However it was just overwhelming with salt. Flavor was there so I'd order again would just ask to hold the salt. Same goes for the onion rings. I'm picky with my rings but the breading was nice. Not too thick and not to thin. Nice flaky batter again heavy on salt. I would most def stop here again for a burger.

So good! We love grabbing burgers and frickles! Love the burger of the month! The donation (Kinship) burger is one of the best...keep your eyes peeled for that one.

The burgers were awesome!! Tator Tots were crispy n delicious!!! We were traveling through and lucky to find it!!! Ate at a shady table in the back. Perfect!!!!!

We stopped it for what appeared to be their first day open. We ordered the flamethrower burger and pickle burger, as well as some kids burgers, fries, and tater tots. (We had already tried the standard burger at a pop-up they had done and it was amazing.) The food was fantastic! It might look like slightly smallish portions but it really was plenty of food and really tasty. The flamethrower burger was very spicy, which is a nice change from burgers that just put a spicy mayo on or something. This had layers of deep heat and you get it from the second you bite into it. It's not the kind of obnoxious heat that makes you cry and struggle through in pain, though. If you like spicy food, you'll love this burger. The pickle burger was my favorite. It has pickles, pickled red onion, and creamy dill ranch. All of that balances out the richness of the beef. It's such a great burger. The kids burgers seemed to be full size but we're just a simple cheeseburger. The fries portions were on the smaller side but not too bad, and they tasted good. The tots were great. Drinks are canned soda or bottled water. They do have some beer also. It's all counter service, so you can take it to go or sit at the tables outside. But they also have picnic blankets hanging up that you can use to sit on the grass in some shade. Be aware that this is NOT fast food, so you will have to wait a little bit for you food, especially if it's s busy. But it's not an unreasonable amount of time. Compare it to ordering and waiting at any sit-down restaurant. Overall, this is amazing food for St. Croix Falls. We live walking distance away and will probably visit frequently!

The M&S burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Crispy edged burger, marinated mushrooms, crispy onion, and perfect bun. And oh yeah, balsamic mayo! This compares with the likes of Parlour in Minneapolis and Au Cheval in Chicago. Plus, the fries are perfectly done with a light seasoned salt. Amazing. Definitely a must stop if you are passing by.

Great burger and tots. I got the onion burger. It was busy the evening I went but I went back outside to wait, it was a nice evening to be outside. (You have to appreciate nice evenings when you live here). Food arrived at the counter in 10 minutes, as they said it would. If you are driving through the area and want a great burger stop here.
