I just moved to Mound and with the pandemic, I am trying to support local businesses more than larger companies so I decided to swing by here on my way home from work. I called ahead to make sure they were going to be open. I showed up at 5:41pm, knowing they closed at 6pm (because I called earlier that day). They already closed their doors and were having what looked like a little get together in the back. When I walked by they informed me that they were closed and after I asked about closing at 6 and it being nearly 20 minutes before that - they asked me rudely what I was looking to buy. I was so put off, I just came up with simply "ribbon?" (I was there for lots of things but it was the first thing that came to mind). Clearly that wasn't enough to entertain her, and she said to come back tomorrow. Now since I only live 7 minutes away, it would have been no big deal. But I actually needed stuff for a baby shower and didn't really want to stop by again. I ended up going to Lund's for Flowers and Michaels for ribbon and boxes and party favors. Just unfortunate because I love extra touches and was really excited about checking this place out, but not after how I felt.

Ordered an arrangement online and asked for picture. Picture came back not looking anything like the online picture so I questioned it. She told me she had to add flowers to make it bigger since i ordered the deluxe size. Well, I thought that would just mean more of the same flowers not added flowers i did not ask for. I understood it would be smaller than I had probably planned it to be but she wasn't really very cooperative as far as what we needed and it was a pretty expensive arrangement. They also were trying to send it 3 days before the requested delivery which was an anniversary date, but she blamed that on it being around a holiday (mothers day, which is still 9 days away) I asked others if i was being unreasonable and looking at the picture she sent me, they said OH NO, not at all. So needless to say i had to cancel (also, the flowers in the picture she sent didn't look all that fresh) I WILL NOT be ordering from here again.

The product that I bought online looks light years away from what was delivered. I gave them 2 stars because they were able to get the arrangement done on time and the employee I spoke to was kind. If you are okay spending a chunk of change on a beautiful arrangement and then receiving something totally different then this would be the place for you.

This is a wonderful little florist and gift shop. They carry many "Scandinavian" goods, great made-in-Minnesota gifts and baby presents, clever planters. Etc. Fresh flowers + delivery! I need this during COVID times.

I had them do my parents 50th anniversary flowers. I live out of state and over the phone I was able to order the perfect arrangements for my mom, her girlfriends at the table, and a boutonnière to match for my Dad. They were lovely and my Mom was thrilled with how pretty their table was.

Very Disappointed. I ordered a floral arrangement first thing yesterday morning to be delivered to my 88 yr. old mother who has dementia and is located just 5 minutes away from the shop. I requested that it be delivered by at least 11:00am if possible. The arrangement was meant to be a reminder for her that it was her wedding anniversary. My dad passed away a few years ago and they were married for 64 years. They LOVED and CHERRISHED one another. My mom still has memories of the past and everyday she comments " How did I get so lucky to be married to your father." Her confusion is progressing and I knew that she would not remember the date and that it was their anniversary. I wanted to have the flowers there for most of the day so she could look at them and be reminded that it was their anniversary. I wanted the flowers to be a surprise so I did not call her and by 5:00pm I had not heard from her. I decided to call Bayside to find out if the flowers had been delivered because they close at 6:00pm and the clerk informed me that they had not been delivered. She stated that one of the employees was going to drop them off on her way home. Remember this shop is only 5 minutes away from where they needed to be delivered. I didn't say much because I could feel that my anger was going to get the best of me so I expressed my disappointment and hung up. I really wanted this to be a special delivery because next year if she lives that long she might not remember the love of her life and the man she married, loved and cherished.

I ordered an arrangement for friends who recently had a baby, and the person who worked with me was very flexible and helpful. I originally requested that the flowers be delivered to the hospital, but later needed to change the delivery to their home address. The shop handled it without a problem and my friends loved the arrangement they received. Would definitely order from here again!
