Service was great, very attentive and sweet young man. The food was excellent. I had the vegetable samosas, lamb saag, aloo gobi, and peshawari naan (dip this into any saag or curry for the best sweet + savory bite)-- everything was perfect. Lamb was very tender. I chose "medium" spicy for all dishes. We even got complementary dessert. We will be back again!Sad to see them so empty on a Monday night.

We had outstanding Indian food here. We had medium heat on these and it was perfect. The restaurant was not at all crowded on a Monday night.

We always get our take out here when in the mood for Indian. I have always been happy with the food and the online ordering is convenient and accurate. We never have had to wait beyond when they said our order would be ready. If you must wait, buy a mango lassi from the refrigerator and you will be glad you had to wait!We always get a paneer dish and have never been disappointed. The butter chicken was also delicious, and they always provide a generous portion of rice. Don't miss the naan! Fresh and soft, it's perfect for scooping up the sauces! I do hope to eat in sometime, but until then, the take out will have to do!

Came through for lunch whilst traveling in the area for work. Was pumped to see dosas on the menu, but then disappointed to hear that all south Indian portion of menu was not available that day. Ended up ordering Chicken Biryani and it was good. I ordered Medium and should have ordered hot. I like the SPICE! The chicken to rice ratio left me a little wanting but overall very tasty. Also ordered the Rasmalai for dessert and it came in 3 pieces in a bowl. The pieces were tender and delightful. Casual and tasty place that is worth a stop if looking for good eats in the area!

Ordering my spice level in Thai or Indian food can be a gamble: I like medium spice but for some places that level means burning my palate and inedible food. However, Bay Leaf gets medium just right. The Chicken Tikka Masala medium spice was delicious and spicy enough to prickle my scalp with sweat and make my nose run (TMI - sorry, lol) without destroying my mouth. The chicken was tender and moist, the sauce fragrant and sumptuous. Served with a huge portion of basmati rice that I finished the next day with a homemade stir fry, the rice complements the tikka masala very well. I also took advantage of a 2-for-1 naan special and enjoyed the Garlic Naan with some mango chutney from my pantry as well as scooping up the yummy sauce from my chicken.

I can't really say anything about the ambiance since it was late on a Sunday and we were the only ones there. However, I can definitely.speak about the food. The chicken appetizer looks amazing but, but the chicken was very tough and dry would not recommend. The flavor was rich and pleasant, if the chicken was better it would be amazing. The player was very well served and very tasty no complaints at all on that and would definitely recommend it. My friend got the chicken Tika Masala and it had a taste of cury that was great, definitely recommend that as well either their perfectly cooked rice. The people are nice and serviceable. I would recommend it for a good mom and pop taste of India.

I'm always on the lookout for good vegetarian options, so the high star rating for this place caught my eye. After checking out the menu and seeing the amazing variety, I was sold--I love Indian food, and I absolutely relish the opportunity to try some of the less standard fare. Alas, the overall experience was largely unsatisfactory. The service was very slow, and we had to ask for several things, including silverware. (Another diner gave up and went behind the counter to find her own after being served both appetizer and entree with neither napkin nor cutlery.) The server first brought us the wrong entrees and a basket of what I think was naan that belonged to another table. We did get to try some dishes that were new to us, including a fun appetizer consisting of battered and fried hot peppers. They were tasty, but the chutneys were a little bit watery and came in plastic take-out cups. For my entree, I tried a new-to-me paneer dish that was intriguing, being flavored with many herbs and spices (including, I think, fenugreek leaves). It did not have very strong flavors, which was surprising for Indian food. I did ask for it spicy, but the only bit of heat was when I got a tiny piece of chili. (Practical tip: order your food at least two stars higher than you think you want it.) The dessert that we ordered was good--the carrot halwa. It sweet, rich, sticky, and flavored well. I definitely recommend it. I get the impression that this restaurant is more of a lunch and take-out establishment. The service was really quite slow despite there being a maximum of just six guests the entire time we were there. I do somewhat suspect that some of the things, like the rice and naan, had either been prepared for lunch or had waited to be brought out from the kitchen a bit longer than one might expect. They were a bit cooler and drier than I would expect. If you want to try something new, this may be a good option, but I expect that takeout would be a better experience than dine-in.

My husband and I came here during his lunch break. We ordered our food. The appetizer came out and then my shrimp tandoori came. We waited for my husbands order for a good 15-20mins thinking they were still making it. After a bit my husband asked where his food was, the man at the front said he would check, he looked on his tablet and realized he never put my husbands order in. By then it was too late, my husband had to go back to work. Very disappointing. Not to mention the shrimp tandoori was not even worth it. It came with no rice and a few shrimp. More veggies than shrimp for $15. We won't be coming back.

Wow, what happened to this place? I used to get their shrimp biryani occasionally, and it was usually pretty good. I just got two orders of it tonight, and the shrimp were tiny (used to be full-size shrimp), and they were terribly hard. It seemed like they were old and leftover from who knows when. I gave this place quite a few chances, thinking, "Oh, I'll support this local restaurant." But I guess I now fully understand why they never have any customers eating inside.I'll never order from this place again and certainly won't recommend it to anyone.
