A friend and I went to Barroco Latin Cuisine for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We had fantastic service there from our server along with amazing food! I was super excited to come here as I hadn't found a Latin restaurant that had more Peruvian cuisine.We started off with the Yuquitas and complimentary chips and salsa. The salsas had really great flavor that I hadn't experienced at any other restaurant. The Yuquitas were accompanied by a creamy Huancaina sauce, which was phenomenal. For my entree I got the Carnitas platter, and it was fantastic. I love salsa criolla, and I was so happy when I saw it was served with this dish! Not pictured were the Margaritas we got and the Tres Leches Cake that I took home. The margaritas were pretty standard, but the Tres Leches Cake was fantastic! I could have eaten a whole sheet cake of it. If Latin cuisine is one of your favorites, I'd definitely say go check them out. It was good environment with great food!

Great food. They serve food really late full menu. I will say sometimes the karaoke can be a bit much but the food feels authentic and fresh and results are consistently good. Plus where else can you find a full menu at 11 pm! Really like the sauces they give you with your chips. It's a different type of salsa

Met my friend for dinner. We were both in the mood for some good Mexican cuisine and landed on this place.Parking is a bit of a pain. There is a lot in the back, but very limited spaces otherwise street parking is available. Food ordered:Guacamole & Chips- GoodCamarones al Ajo- Good, but shrimp were quite small. Rice was good.Street tacos with shrimpAll the food was pretty tasty.Prices are a little high. Ambiance. It was pretty quiet for the first few hours we were there and then it was so loud we had to leave. I'm not sure if there was Karaoke or a Dj, but combined with the multiple tv's blaring- it just got way too loud and we could no longer hear each other. Nice place sans the volume..

We were very pleased with our meal tonight. Our server was very attentive and friendly and gave great recommendations. We had guacamole and I had the Camarones A La Diabla/Al Mojo De Ajo and my husband had Lomo Saltado. The Camarones were spicy and delicious and the portions were large. Hopefully we'll be able to visit again.

Although not in the best location, this place is a gem! There are very limited places to get Peruvian food in Minnesota and this is top of the list! Staff are friendly and the casual karaoke makes this a fun environment. The food is ALWAYS delicious which is why I keep coming time and time again.Don't overlook this place!!

This restaurant has some of the best and freshest Mexican fusion food I have ever had. I had the agua chilles verde, fresh shrimps marinated in a lime juice sauce with fresh avocado and red onion. I haven't had a dish this good since having conch salad at fish fry in the Bahamas 20 years ago. This was topped with ice cold Modelo. It was a tremendous eating experience. I will definitely be back.

Great service, amazing food. I had the Peruvian ceviche and it was amazing 10/10 would recommend. It's very hard to find a restaurant with Peruvian cuisine around minnesota and I'm so glad this place is here. Can't wait to go back and try more things.
