Barn Board Grill & Saloon

We just discovered this bar & grill and even though the floor plan of the place isn't the most appealing (the entrance door is way too close to the bar/bar stools), the bartenders are quick, attentive, fun, and know their drinks, and the food is very good!! We love the bison burger, the whiskey melt, and the steak fries. These wide cut fries are some of the best in the area. Also, I tried their cucumber & mint martini on their Tuesday night martini menu and loved it! You can't beat a $5 martini.

I found this place on Yelp and am pleasantly surprised. The waitress, Payton was busy, attentive and friendly. She made you comfortable to be there.I had the WBLT and Garlic Fries. A WBLT is Walleye, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato.Loved the atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and patient with an outsider from Tennessee. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, the staff and the customers.On a personal note, the place was nicely decorated. Not gawdy, but more than enough to keep you interest.When I come back through, I will definitely stop again.

A delicious meal in a hometown restaurant! This was my first experience at barnboard and I already know it will not be my last. We ordered a small feast to go as they are not enforcing any covid precautions and have rude customers if you do wear a mask. We started off with some delicious apps, potato skins and mac n cheese bites. The potato skins were okay, but the mac n cheese bites were such a fun treat and probably a new family favorite. We ordered 2 ragin cajun burgers and fell deeply in love. Deliciously seasoned beef, jalapeños, pepper Jack, and cooked onions made for a great way to perk us us half way through the day. My loss of star is due to the lack of safety standards, and that they didn't say anything to the customer for harassing me for simply choosing to wearing a mask because my daughter is high risk, even when they were interrupting my attempts to pay. I wish the bartender would have spoken up as I just wanted to support my new hometown restaurants during the pandemic. Otherwise, great food. Just ignore the local loud mouths.

The service was horrible. It was practically empty inside and it took forever for a server to stop then the food took longer and it wasn't great just okay.

Had to give one star - app doesn't allow negative. We've driven by this place many times and decided to give it a try. Won't stop there again. Waitress asked how I'd like my burger, I say med rate. Came out beyond well done. Fries were dried out, like they'd been sitting and were reheated in an air fryer. Wife ordered the taco salad. Chips were stale and limp. Lettuce looked like it was from a bag of pre-chopped lettuce you get at the store in a kit, edges were brown and wilted. Chicken was also like from a pre-made bag of chopped grilled chicken, somehow both tough and rubbery. Salsa had no flavor. We'll continue to drive by this place.

Atmosphere? YesClean? NoFood? Average Everything you touch was sticky. Chairs torn, fence broken but the atmosphere was pleasant.

We love Barn Board! We live close by so we go often or order delivery. We love pretty much everything on the menu. Chicken quesadillas is delicious! The boys love their Alfredo!

Pretty good food, good service.Random taxes added on bill that no other restaurants in town have. Trouble keeping staff, like a lot of places.Don't get me wrong, I'm rarely disappointed when going there, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here either.Also, if you are concerned about COVID, don't go here. Even at the beginning, I never saw a mask other than when they delivered to give the illusion they were following guidelines.

Cute place, was clean, we came in a group of 9. They were not busy. Waitress took our drink and dinner order and never came back to ask how our meal was or if we needed another drink. Unfriendly waitress. The food servers were trying hard. Bartender was friendly when I asked her to find our waitress because we all were thirsty. Food was mediocre. My daughters hamburger was burnt. My friends stir fry was not edible. Will never go again. Drinks were good though!
