Brisket Rueben with side of jalapeño poppers and Mac and cheese.
Ribs and baked beans were tasty. 8/10. Veggies were weak.
Brisket sandwich to go. Nice helping of brisket and very tasty. I'll be back to try something else. Solid 8/10.

Top notch Texas style barbecue...the brisket sandwich had a great smoke 'bark' on the meat and the brisket was both flavorful and moist. An unexpected gem along Interstate 35.And their homemade bbq sauces were also top notch - as was their creamy corn.Most highly recommended!

Baldy's has a simple decor and menu. This will not underestimate the fantastic ribs and portions here. I had the Special 3$ off rib tips. I had side of fries, too. Wow. Fantastic. Big portions. Big tastes. Topped off with a great smile and service from Rachel. I heard it was good. Go out of your way. Five Stars.

FINALLY great BBQ in MN!! We're from TX and are used to superb BBQ and have been hunting and trying different spots since we moved here three years ago...well HELLO we can stop looking! Thank you for not dousing the BBQ in sauce! The meat stands on its own- very delicous!!!! The Mac and cheese was least fave but the coleslaw was creamy!

I really wanted to like Baldy's. I really did. We just got takeout and right away it was clear that on the ribs and brisket combo, I was not receiving fresh food. The brisket was dry, grainy and had seen a microwave at some point. This was my biggest disappointment. The tips were dry in the way that the top part of the pork was crunchy when you pulled the ribs apart. The beans were good as were the sauces, but they did not even come close to saving this sadly disappointing meal. It is possible that I caught them on a bad night (a Tuesday), but there is no excuse not to serve freshly smoked que.

Spent over $50.00 last night for take out. The food was not fresh. Ed threw most of it out! We have been going to the other Lakeville location for years! So disappointed!

Got the brisket sandwichThe sandwich was very good not dry, perfect amount of moisture. They just need to get after the flys in the dining area. Also the sauce are just open on the tables ( which flys sh*t on). I was given closed cause nice customer service. Only giving the restaurant three stars because the flys. I couldn't enjoy my food.

SO excited to have found this gem in Lakeville at a lunch with my coworkers! I've had the loaded tater tots and the brisket sandwich and they were incredible. They also have the crispiest fries - some of the best I've had in the twin cities! Service has been fantastic and so friendly. I don't live near Lakeville but would absolutely drive out of my way to go here - well worth it. Fantastic for groups!

The lady they had serving me was extremely rude with a confidently prejudice attitude . Then as I was eating I found not only hair in my food but eyelashes . Then the woman (Helen) proceeded to make it seem like we were suppose to continue eating . No one was rude but the server told my friend and I not to ever come back to the restaurant because we voiced a quality and safety concern regard the food . I havent eaten all day and for me to have considered this place to only be treated so poorly is a shame !

Was craving so bbq went to baldy's in Lakeville mn. This is not bbq I got penne noodles for mac and cheese the brisket was thick tough and just nasty. The ribs had no flavor like they were boiled and placed on a grill for color . I tryed all three sauces they taste like sweet baby rays and famous Dave's mix. Next time I want bbq after this experience I'll fire up my own grill terrible.
