Bakery on Main

First time actually sitting down here and having something from their small hot breakfast menu and it was SO good. We ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and a Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich, coffee, and a few treats to go. The service from the super friendly staff was great, and the food was top notch. The Biscuits and Gravy were some of the best I can remember. This is a nice, comfy place to grab a coffee and a pastry but don't sleep on the hot menu. Highly recommend.

I had an over all good experience. The service was amazing and a majority of the bakery items I got were great. I thought I hated donuts, nope they were just never made this good!!!! The best donut I have EVER had. The cookies were soft, HUGE and room temperature. The cupcake was not great.... I was not a fan of the frosting at all and it tasted more like a muffin. The cannoli was a massive disappointment. I will come back for the donuts allow though! We were greeted upon entrance offered help throughout the selection process and greeted on the way out. The atmosphere got 4 because the table we sat at was dirty and so were the rest.

Stopped in the day after they opened. We tried croissant, chocolate croissant, apple turnover, and carmel roll. Everything was very good, well above average fare. Two people in our office independently (and within a couple minutes of each other) said that carmel roll might have been the best they'd ever had in their lives. I went back in their first Saturday morning they were a little overwhelmed by the business. Blueberry cream scone, plain croissant, and choc chip+macadamia nut(?)+(something else, can't recall) cookie. Scone was delicious and moist, cookie was perfect texture crisp on the outside and edges, soft & chewy in the center, croissant again done to perfection.Five stars.The fact that this bakery is directly across from my office might be considered dangerous to my waistline.

good new bakery for Waconia! Has a very large assortment of goods, from hot breakfast to fresh pastries. You won't be able to find a list of types of each good online anywhere, unfortunately, but be sure they'll have what you're looking for.

Everything they sell is the best they serve great coffee so please when your in Waconia stop in for a Fresh cup off coffee and a French bakery item .. 10/10

We ordered Sesame Street cupcakes for our son's birthday, and they turned out amazing! We had chocolate, vanilla, and Oreo flavors. Bakery was great to communicate with and the cupcakes tasted delicious.

Best donuts ever. Wish they had more options but the maple, chocolate, and vanilla are fantastic. Super sweet and lots of frosting!

Disappointing.Went out of my way hoping to find a hidden treasure in this cute lakeside town.Donuts were super fresh and fluffy, no complaints there. I didn't buy or taste the elaborately and artfully decorated cupcakes, which looked to be the most masterful items in the shop.I judge bakeries on their croissants and Bakery on Main fell down badly...the croissants were hollow, the exteriors weren't at all crisp, they tasted like they'd been thawed out of the freezer and made earlier. Not just bad but the worst I've had in the area. They had a good clientele coming in and out and whoever their cake decorator is should be commended. Good enough for a local donut and coffee but don't go out of your way for anything more complicated.

YUMM!!! I have been to the bakery on main many times and can confidently say I have not had one bad thing from here. Since everything I've previously had from the bakery on main was amazing, I decided it was time to try their birthday cake. FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend the cakes.

Such a wonderful smell right when you walk in! A great selection of yummy baked goods...hard to pick what to get! Staff was very helpful A great addition to Waconia! I can't wait to come back & try more of the food. Yeah
