Asian Cafe

Everything review is based on context but at the end, it's the quality vs the price. I would say that the quality is average but the price is high. Specifically, some of the sashimi fish was still frozen when eaten and that took away from my experience.Service is good and the ambiance is cozy because it's family friendly.

We celebrated my sister-in-laws 65th birthday today at your charming restaurant. We had the most engaging server! He was handsome (which never hurts!), beautiful smile and fun-loving attitude. He was helpful with discussing flavors and heat levels in the food. The #13 Asian Cafe Appetizer Taster was fanTAStic!!!All in our party of four ordered different lunch specials. None disappointed!This is our second year "annual" celebrating Terry's birthday we WILL be back!

I typically grab a burrito at the super Americano, but I wanted to try this Asian Café since the rating was extremely high. I purchased the chicken lo mein and triple Mongolian delight. The chicken lo mein was pretty tasteless but it was fresh and cooked well. The triple Mongolian delight was so sweet. It tasted like it was dipped in a candy bar. They also forgot the bed of crispy noodle as mentioned on their menu. The eggrolls were pretty soggy and small so the value per eggroll were not consumer friendly. I would just say skip the egg rolls. I just wanted something basic, but these items had pretty neutral flavors and we're not too exciting. I love leftovers, but these are just sitting there. Rating: chicken lo mein: 2/5 Mongolian Triple delight: 1/5egg rolls: 1/5I feel like I should give them another shot, but this was kind of a miss.

The best Asian food in Monticello, I will not eat anywhere else for Asian food. Sushi is fresh and always hits. Service is always very quick.

Came here on a busy Friday evening with my daughter. We were greeted and seated immediately. Everyone was friendly and the place is clean. The prices are very decent considering the high food costs these days. We ordered drinks, water and my daughter had a strawberry Japanese soda. Ordered won tons as an appetizer and they were hot and delicious. The sushi came out fast as well. We tried many rolls: Rainbow Narudo, pink pale, lady gaga, a tuna & avocado role. We took sweet doughnuts home for a dessert. The sushi was fresh and presented well. All of it was wonderful and it came on a boat which was a lovely touch!Our server was on top of her game. She was friendly and let us know they were a tad behind in the kitchen, which we didn't notice at all but she was very kind. She was very attentive to our needs and checked on us just the right amount of times. I didn't go in this place with high expectations and I was pleasantly surprised! They do a booming takeout business and their inside area is also nice, clean and well stocked. We plan on returning and definitely recommend this restaurant!

I have never had an experience where a Chinese takeout order does not include rice. I drove 2 hours only to discover that there was none for a very large purchase of food. Even the sushi was light on the rice. Very salty and disappointing.

I got to go here a few times while working the outage. Amazing food. Fast service. Everyone in the break room at work was jealous. General Tso 's Chicken and Mongolian Beef were awesome!

Service was excellent. Food came out quickly.I got the bento box. I liked my sushi (crunchy Florida roll) and general tso's chicken. Gyoza was decent. I would not recommend tht egg roll. It tastes like those frozen eggrolls from the grocery store.

Very good food. Can make things to order, as far as spice level. Friendly staff. Nice decor. Overall good value. I feel it's the best Asian food in Monticello.

This place is easy to miss, being on the side of a mini-mall off downtown. But it's hard to overlook. Impeccable sushi and sashimi, a variety of sakes served as you like, and all your expected favorites done to a high standard. I can recommend the gyoza to start; the dipping sauce is an umami treat. Love you and keep up the good work!
