When bowling meats Mall of America, you find AMF. It's a large center that houses lanes, bar, arcade, and I'm pretty sure a post office (kidding on the post office). But that's how large this place is. securing a lane was quick, but bowling balls are hard to come by during busy hours. I did have a fun time bowling but did not enjoy the bar weight times or the bartenders lack of experience. In short, if you want to bowl here and want a drink stick to tap or bottles.

Great for a Saturday night of bowling! We didn't get food because we've heard and read it isn't the best. The place was clean and service for alcohol was fast though!

It's a bowling alley. What is there to expect? We bowl, we leave, we have a good time while there. My only caution is to NOT order medium drinks unless you're REALLY thirsty! They are huge and don't fit into car cup holders, either. Stick with a small/regular drink and you'll be fine.

Upon signing up for the AMF ECLUB a couple days earlier, I decided to bring my two boys and their friends for a couple of hours of bowling. After all, by signing up for the EClub it said I would save $5 off per bowler up to 4 bowlers. I didn't receive an email confirmation or anything so assumed that they would have the info at the alley. We were greeted by a very grumpy woman bearing the title Assistant Manager on her name tag. To my surprise she had no knowledge of the deal that is advertised by AMF. She reluctantly gave my $5 off our $40 dollar total for 4 kids. While sitting there while the kids were bowling, I decided to pull up the website again to make sure I read the offer right. I did. I then showed this terribly antisocial woman the ad on my computer. She then said to print it out and bring it back next time to receive the offer. I told her I wasn't sure when it would be. Obviously this was going to create some extra work for her which obviously was more than she could handle. At the same time we had a ball stuck in the lane. I went up to the counter again and advised her of this. She didn't even acknowledge that I had said anything to her. She walked away from me. I asked if she even heard me. She again didn't respond. She made a call for someone to attend to the ball. She managed to get all the necessary paperwork done to provide me the additional $15 discount. Phew, it must have been difficult. Bottom line...they will never see me nor my family at this place again. Note to the owner/manager - hire someone with a personality to represent your business in a positive manner. This lady eliminated me as a customer going forward.
