The food, service, and ambiance was second to none! Every time we visit, even when it's super busy, we are treated like family, every request being accommodated. Definitely recommend! You will not be disappointed!

It's a family restaurant that serves breakfast all day which is what my kids love. Prices are a bit high for a family restaurant but portions are large. My boys got the cinnamon roll pancakes and split them. My daughter got the kids spaghetti which was enough for an adult. I got the small stir fry (there's a bigger option) and it came with a bowl of soup or a salad. I got the chicken dumpling which was almost all dumplings. Some more chicken would have been nice. The small stir fry was just enough for one person. My husband got the country fried steak which was large and he said good. The food was good, nothing out of this world but good. Our waitress was really good.

Good food, good pies, great service. The family that runs this restaurant is hardworking, kind, and delivers a wonderful product. This is my go-to eatery in the Eau Claire area. If you're looking for a solid, home cooked meal, this is the place to go. Recommended.

If you approach this with appropriately tuned expectations, you will have a very good experience. AFR is, fundamentally, a diner. It's quite a good diner with very good diner food and excellent staff. There is nothing particularly creative about the menu, it is simply well prepared, served hot and quickly, by efficient and pleasant servers.

I love this spot! It's definitely a small town diner feel. The menu is quite large and they serve breakfast all day. Food came out quick and it was delicious. They also offered me some flavored creamer which was a nice treat! Decently priced as well I would definitely go back.

Walking into this charming restaurant was our first step towards a charming breakfast. When the food came the charm set in. Cooked perfectly, it was delicious. When the bill came the charm was made permanent. What a find!
