Alleycat’s Gourmet Sandwiches

I've been to this place so many times and have tried just about everything on the menu. I can confidently say you really can't go wrong with any of it. Every sandwich I've had has been incredible! This is a solid, dependable spot in White Bear Lake, and the fact that they stay open late is a huge plus.

My best friend's sister lives near this place and she is always raving about it. Tried it for the first time and we split the Nashville chicken sandwich and the market club. Both sandwiches are impressive. It is a little on the expensive side, but prices do go up everywhere. I'm happy paying for this because it was freshly made and the quality was excellent. Will definitely be back in the future.

Go here every time I'm in the area. Great sandwiches and Siracha tots are a must if you go. Always great service and friendly staff. Give them your number for the rewards program and get free food!

Alleycat's has been on my list for over a year and recommended to me multiple times. My bestie and I decided we needed a lunch date and he let me decide, so I picked somewhere on our list we both haven't been... Alleycat's Gourmet Sandwiches for the win. It's about a 30 minute easy drive for us, but gives us some chatting time, so totally fine by me. It's located on the end of a strip mall off of 61. . As soon as we walked in, I said "it smells so good." The gentleman at the front counter greeted us with a "hello" right when we walked in and asked if we were ready to order. We took a few minutes to look at the menu as we've never been here. Ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and the market club sandwich with fries. We were able to find a table, but heads up there's about 4 tables and a small bar area for seating. It got busy quickly and lots of people coming in to grab pickup orders. Fries were excellent and zesty. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was flavorful, fresh, and non-greasy. Coleslaw wasn't my favorite. The market club sandwich was fantastic! The amount of meat you get on this sandwich was incredible. Lettuce was green, onions were crunchy, sauce complimented it well. It was just a great sandwich! I saw other customers meals as employees were bringing them out and oh man, does the other menu items look scrumptious as well. I'm curious about the Rueben sandwich and the Philly sandwich. If you haven't tried this place, don't be like me and wait so long, go soon. I'll definitely be back!

Great service, great food...it's a small place so you might have to get it to go or dine outside if the weather is nice. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was good, but calling it hot is like calling ketchup spicy...so it was disappointing. The club sandwich on the other hand was the best damn club sandwich I've ever had.Also the Sriracha tots were great, heck they were far and away spicier than the hot chicken. Overall, it's worth the stop and was fairly priced.

After a while of eyeing this place up, a family member recommended it for lunch. They have several sandwich options as well as burgers, wraps, and apps. I chose the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The spices combined with the freshness of the lettuce, acid of the pickles, and the creaminess of the aioli paired beautifully. The Sriracha Tots are a dry rub and come with a lime ranch. The spice packs a punch but the ranch balances and enhances the flavor.Heads up - the space is small with about 4 indoor and 4 outdoor tables. This seems to be a great spot by the marina for takeaway. I'm sure this place is super busy in the summertime.

My new favorite sandwich place. The sandwiches here are amazing. I absolutely loved the club with the candied bacon - it was the perfect sandwich. They're huge too! I ended up saving half for another meal. Friendly staff as well and a nice patio for the summer. They also have gluten free bread available.

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed the Market Club with a side of tots. Both were fantastic! The club is an scrumptious combination of flavors sandwiched between two pieces of perfectly toasted tasty sourdough. Because the food is so good the place is usually busy so don't expect to grab and go. But the food is worth the short wait. There are not a ton of seats inside so at busy times it could be a little tight. Service is always great.

I've made a couple of trips to Alleycat's now. They're easy to find off of the highway, and they have private parking lot. Just be careful turning in, it's at an odd intersection where people are turning all over the place like we're all driving bumper cars or something. You place your order at the counter and take a seat if you're dining in, they'll bring it out when it's ready. In the meantime you can take in the decor, it's like being in a dive bar in an ally, but it's clean and there's no alcohol. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Service has always been fast and friendly service. They also have a rewards program, so check that out, unless your anti perks. I've tried a couple of the wraps, Nashville fried chicken sandwich, cheese curds, and onion rings. It's hot, fresh, and flavorful. The chicken at times has been a little dry, but extra sauce always does the trick. But also, I should probably start trying something without chicken. It's a great spot to grab a tasty handheld when you're in the area.

Excellent sandwiches and fresh, hot fries! Got the recommendation from my car salesman (those guys know how to eat!). It didn't disappoint! I got the Nashville chicken and my mom got a hot pastrami. I'd recommend either and can't wait to try the poutine burger.
