I went on a Friday night for, what else....the fish fry. We had a reservation and did have to wait a few minutes. It was packed. This is a rural (in the middle of farmland) dive bar. A few beers on tap. I had the capital amber and then Lienies original. We had the cheese curds as an app, they were delicious. Served with ranch.Rolls and butter. A small relish tray, comprised of radish, baby carrot, and green olives.I had the fried fresh with lyonnaise potatoes. The fish was decent. The lyonnaise potato was delicious. The coleslaw was creamy and a little little bit sweet. I really liked it.Attentive service, even with how busy it was. Definitely will be back to try the primary on a Saturday night. I hear it's a legendary. I've also been told the hamburgers are quite good.

Excellent service by wait staff Bailey. We were seated immediately on. Friday at 4:30pm. Mixed drinks and tap beer were good. We had battered mushrooms for an app, enjoyed the relish tray followed by side salads. I had fish fry and shrimp with baked potato. Served piping hot and sizable portions. Yes to leftovers! My husband had the sirloin steak and hash browns (huge serving). Steak was tender and prepared properly. Clean and relaxed setting. Very good Wisconsin supper club type experience and we will be back-plan to bring out of town guests as well.

I love supper clubs and go out of my way to track them down. If you live or are visiting the Eau Claire area I highly recommend you put this on your dining list.They are closed Mondays. All other days they have a nightly special at excellent prices. Dinners come with a bread basket, relish tray, choice of potato and a side (soup, salad or cottage cheese).Wednesday and Saturdays the special is prime rib. 16oz king cut $16.00. Excellent deal. Once the meat is gone it's off the menu. That said, if you want prime rib, make reservations and reserve your steak. If you don't, theres no guarantee there will be any available when you get there.We started with brandy old fashions (Wisconsin, supper club) pretty much the required drink. And it was fabulous. Dinner was also on the mark. All four of us had the prime rib -- tender and juicy, served with au jus and horseradish. Crispy hash browns and a fresh salad. All were pAs our meal came to an end our excellent server asked if we wanted dessert. I said I'd love to have a brandy alexander but was too stuffed and jokingly asked if we could get them to go. Silly me, this must be a common concern because she said yes. We ordered two and she immediately brought out two ice cream containers from the freezer. They had them ready to go.A plus for customer service!I'm very sad to say the owners have retired and this supper club has closed.

We had the fish tonight and it was pollack with a nice, light, crispy coating. It's obvious they change the oil frequently as everything tasted fresh. The French fries were delicious and perfectly crispy. The coleslaw was very good - a nice balance between mayo and vinegar. The drinks were generous and not expensive. We got scotch and sodas and the scotch was excellent quality. Very happy! We will come back again soon for sure! Definitely worth the drive.

Food came 45 minutes late. Server gave me attitude saying I was lying. Bottom bun was soggy. Burger was pink. Manager said I should have asked for it to be cooked well done if I didn't want it raw.

We heard about the fish. We took guests there on a Friday night. We had advance reservations, but no one asked us for our name, and no there was apparently no place where people could wait to be seated. So we just took an empty table. It took a LONG time for the fish to arrive, and it was pale and cold, and really not very good. Mitigating factors: the restaurant was packed, staff was limited...but still. Maybe just an off night, but we will not be back.

We just left ....three of us...we all had two glasses of the large tap beer and ordered a plate of mixes appetizers...I got the bill and it was just under $70...are you kidding me? Eight dollars for a glass of tap beer? I asked about the total and was told that tap beer is expensive...are you people our of your minds? This is not the airport and an high end place to be...I said that I would NEVER......NEVER...........NEVER be back...and have the owner wondered why you are loosing business? Shame on you...we will NEVER be back.
