Large Outlet Shopping Center in MNWe were looking for something to do and, of course, shopping is always a winner with my group of women. We went and checked out this outdoor outlet mall off of I-94 at Hwy 19 (half an hour north of Minneapolis).Lululemon was the first store we hit. I don't shop at this store because, well, once you enter the store you'll know why (especially if you're conscious about your budget). I don't do yoga and I don't wear leggings. But two of my companions came out with purchases. We walked the perimeter of one side of the mall from end to end. Long walk. We looked at stores like The North Face, UGG Outlet, Coach Outlet, and Michael Kors... the mall offers a variety of shops from clothing and shoes to accessories. For a Sunday afternoon the crowd seemed to be sparse. Lots of sales to entice shoppers but few foot traffic. There was an ice cream food truck on the premises. I did not purchase anything. I am a little on the fence with my review. I landed on 3 stars as they have a wide assortment of very good stores, across a wide price range. I was here with the family a few weeks ago and we got things for the whole family. So what's the problem? Well, it is spread out over what seems like miles of space with a parking lot that is big enough to land a plane. We went on a cold windy day and we gave up after only getting halfway through the place.I think this would be great on a spring or summer day, but during our 10 months of winter, I think I am going to pass on coming back.

If you know me, you know I like fashionable things. However, in knowing me, you would also discover that I try to seek out those same items for the most affordable price: enter Albertville Premium Outlets.++ During our visit we checked out: Michael Kors, Coach, North Face, and Zales. There's ample other store offerings including Kate Spade, Zumiez, Torrid, Ralph Lauren, Carters, and more!++ The layout is pretty typical; a strip mall, with each store's entrance going directly to the outside.++ There is a Five Guys and Starbucks to satisfy any pre- or post-shopping hunger.++ Albertville Premium Outlets def offers more than enough parking to handle any size crowd. -- Like most outlet malls I've been to in the past few years, there are quite a few vacancies. Def a bummer.Albertville Premium Outlets def checked all the items I have come to expect in an outlet mall. I'd gladly stop back by on my way to Northern Minnesota again.

I haven't been up here for some time, definitely pre-COVID. I was sorry to see so many of the stores were no longer open. I definitely missed the shoe stores as I love a fun, fashionable shoe. For the stores that were open, we received good service and all were well stocked. We got especially great service in the Kate Spade store. The Nike store had a huge line queued up outside so we opted to skip that store but went in the vast majority of the others. If you are coming up from the Twin Cities, I would recommend to just go to the Twin Cities Outlet in Eagan as many of the stores are also located there. The one exception is the Albertville Outlet has a Lululemon store which is always popular. It's a great stop if you live north and don't want to go into MPLS/StPaul area.

Albertville outlet mall is a good place to get a wide variety of shopping done in one trip. However, you can tell that the COVID-19 pandemic has taken its tole! Limited to no food options - so if you're planning on going for more than a few hours, plan accordingly! Also so many of the stores have closed & moved to other locations! It's really sad to see because this was always a great holiday stop for us! The arbor lakes outdoor mall seemed to have more options - although not an outlet - is also an option to hit a variety of shops all at one time.

Oh my goodness this is a great place for finding great deals with name brands you're familiar with. Especially right before Christmas. Personally, I enjoyed specific shops such as: The North Face, Clark's, Columbia, The Gap, Banana Republic, Famous Footwear, Kitchen Collection, American Eagle, The Cosmetic Company, and Under Armour. Even found a neat new shop called The Peak. They carry a Finish brand, Luhta. It's Europe's popular outerwear and sportswear. They have many cute specialty items. My friends and I each bought these adorable keychain bunnies for $15 +tax for our purses. They're ridiculously soft and so therapeutic petting them. Sure they're pricey, but we agreed they're well worth it. Haha

This place was hopping on a Monday afternoon at three. It's a very Covid friendly style mall since you're walking outside most of the time. Plenty of parking. The bathrooms were big and well cleaned. We had a nice Starbucks, a good trip to Jockey, Eddie Bauer, and Lululemon. We passed on the line to get into the Nike store, but Lululemon had a nice app where you could wait out your "line" time while shopping in other stores. There were a couple of out of business stores, but not many on the side we were on. I was impressed with the prices, we'll be back....

The Good: There are definitely good deals to be had, typically 50-75% off. My personal favorites are probably Calvin Klein and Eddie Bauer. You rarely feel like it's crowded with the stores being scattered over 2mi.The Bad: The stores are beyond spread out. I hate that I have to drive and park at least twice, and you're seemingly always one wrong step away from getting hit by a car.The Ugly: Parking lot, insane drivers whipping about like they're on a racetrack. The restrooms... don't, if you can avoid it.I definitely prefer "the other" outlet mall, in every category I can think of.

Who knew that a small redneck town would have such a fabulous outlet mall like this?! I certainly didn't until last week. This was accident that I discovered this outlet mall. Coincidentally, I was driving along 94, which is my unusual route for driving that direction. I happened to have needed some clothes. I saw it, and I drove over there to check it out. I'm happy that I did because there's a lot of things to buy and more things to do than the appearance would say.I love the selection of clothing lines they have there. Most of them are high end, but there are some mid-range priced places for people like me who don't like to spend $200 on a pair of pants. Walking and navigating there is easy. Most of everything there is is viewable from 94. That means I didn't have much of a problem navigating from point A to point B. Most of the employees in the shops are friendly. The level of friendliness depends on where I went. I don't know the next time I'll drive along 94, but if I do and when the right time comes, I'll definitely be back.

This place is a ghost town. Stores that should be open are locked up, no place to eat except Burger King, only clothing and shoe stores, no home goods or kitchen stores any more. You know what would receive this place is making it a destination again. Fill the vacant spots with escape rooms, restaurants, specialty shops, etc. Bring out food trucks or something. I get that 2020 was rough for retail as well as people shopping online more. But with this change in consumer habits is a HUGE opportunity! Hopefully the investors of the place are in the process of making this change.
