GYRO BOWL
Some good ole sauce I forgot the name of :( but I do remember it came with the salad, so ask for it!!!
Basmati rice and gyro topped with their special tzatziki sauce with a good portion of tasty salad on the side
Omg, their "baklava"!!!! This thing right here sent my tastebuds to wonderland on the 1st bite. 10/10 dessert!

Nice decoration easy to park relatively quick service. Gyro was decent but chicken shawarma was better. . They should cover the entrance to the right because there is piece of metal from outside food selling That does not belong there. Also restrooms are ugly and borderline...Kenafeh was decent, but I will not come back for it.

Afandina Combo is recommended. This is a solid Middle Eastern place, and affordable because it's counter service where you don't need to tip a server, and the portions are good size.

Stopped by Afandina Cafe for a dinner with some friends after work several weeks ago. The ambiance is fast casual, but with a very large space. You order up at the front and then they bring you your food to your table. They have a variety of middle eastern food options to order and so I opted for the Chicken Shawerma Sandwich with fries and a soda. The shawerma came with a nice garlic sauce that was crucial for the shawarma to be dipped in. The shawerma itself was decent, but not mind blowing. The fries were clearly just refried here and made elsewhere - nothing special at all. The prices were very fair considering the rather large portions. I was satisfied with my meal and would eat here again. However, I would argue there are similar options that I prefer more in the metro.

Ordered the Combo (Chicken & Gyro) Bowl for delivery, so no ambiance rating, but I've heard it's a nice size clean place. Customer Service did a great job on the presentation. The salad had a tangy think it was Lebanese Lemon Salad dressing, would've liked it separate from the hot food but it didn't really effect the meal together) the chicken was grilled, gyro meat was fresh, and rice was fluffy, slightly moist with Middle Eastern spice flavor. Fresh tzatziki sauce too, was NOT bland and watery. Nice portion size and price considering the current economic inflation. Would recommend for Lunch for sure. Follow me for more reviews.

Stopped by here for a quick dinner as I was running errands. The place was empty at 6:15 on a Tuesday. Went up to the counter. They have a simple menu. I went with the gyro bowl. Sat at one of the many empty tables. The place is clean with drapes some plants as can be seen in the pictures. Overall pleasing and clean appearance.Food came out fairly quickly. Served in a togo container, with the salad on one side and rice on the other. Gyro meat piled on top of the rice. The salad was tasty and fresh. What you would expect from a Mediterranean style salad with a tangy dressing. The rice was fluffy and cooked well. The meat was flavorful and juicy. Lots of yoghurt sauce on top. The flavors worked together and it was a decent meal. There are a lot of Mediterranean places in the cities and this is definitely a solid choice if you are in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way but this was a good meal, reasonably priced in a clean establishment.

I've been meaning to make my way over here for a while. The outside looks like a typical suburban food establishment, but the inside is super unique! Easy parking with their own lot. Order at the counter and sit down. Service: They don't give you a number or anything, but they'll find you and bring it out to you. We went on a Saturday around 6pm, plenty of seating even if you're a large group. Our party ordered a variety of foods. The best by far was the Shawerma Chicken Sandwich (more like a wrap)! The sauce was slightly sweet with a hint of maybe cinnamon or something similar. I would go back just for that and the Greek salad! The spicy sauces on the table are delicious and I smothered my Kofta Bowl in them. One person in our party did find a piece of a plastic wrapper in their sandwich. Quality-wise this would be a good takeout spot. Otherwise, if you want to get out of the house, but don't want to deal with a crowded space, definitely come here.

This is an order at the register to-go or they have places to sit and eat too. They seemed nice and friendly enough when we ordered so we sat.We ordered the combo platter which had two small pieces of kufta, two small piece of steak (less the an inch each), and two small piece of chicken (like an inch and half), rice, a small amount of grilled peppers but tons of lettuce and onions. For 18.99 it was definitely is NOT worth it. I expected a little hummus and/or baba ganough maybe a stuffed grape leaf or falafel to come with it. As for the flavors it was okay since we were hungry. I did give the place three stars since my son liked his chicken saj sandwich and fries basket and the falafel basket we ordered was tasty (wasn't offered with tahini - we had to ask for it). The place is nicely decorated although needs a thorough cleaning - floors and chairs didn't look especially clean, windows sills had dirt and cobwebs, the bathroom was disgusting (dirty toilet, floor, and sink). Perhaps they don't focus on this since it appeared to be more of a to-go place. I wouldn't recommend to sit and eat. Perhaps a quick sandwich to-go, if you're in the area very but there are many other better middle eastern options in the Twin Cities

Friendly service, well-prepared foods, and can accommodate larger groups. Went with a friend to this casual restaurant and immediately noticed the colorful wall hangings, lighting, and ceiling. You seat yourself, and can sit either on the first floor or second floor. When we went to the counter to order, we were given samples of lentil soup, which was hearty and flavorful. Ordered babaganous, falafels with hummus, a combo plate with grilled chicken, beef, and kefta kabobs, and a chicken shawarma plate. The falafels and dips were great. The grilled chicken was fairly tender, and the kefta was extremely moist and flavorful. I requested the garlic sauce to dip the other meats in since they weren't seasoned much. The chicken shawarma had more flavor and was quite tender as well. I'll go back again for the food and very friendly staff.

Afandina had been on my friend's must try list, and I am so happy we decided to stop in. The restaurant's decor decor is well appointed, with beautiful art and fabrics on the wall. There was a single television tuned to the World Cup for those who are so inclined, but it did not overwhelm those who were not paying attention. The manager and his staff were delightful. As we perused the menu, he handed us a free cup of the lentil soup- which was really really good. Mine never tasted quite like that! The menu was full of items you'd typically see at a Middle Eastern restaurant- I do wish they had more combo platters for the vegetarians but I was able to order ala carte the items that weren't on my falafel plate. The falafel was excellent- fresh out of the frier and not too dense. The hummus was smooth with hints of tahini and the olive oil. The baba ganoush was outstanding. Everything I sampled was excellent
