First off, if you are squeamish about things being clean and well kept, this is not the place for you. It's a bit ramshackle, bathrooms are a mess with windows that people can look into, there are exposed nails on the deck that my 4 year old was playing by, and one of the 4 outdoor chairs was split in half. The hamburgers were fine though, and I liked the coleslaw. Plus you have to like a place where the entire bar of liquor is on a shelf behind the diner register where you pay for your gas and food.It is also a little hardware store and gas station, with an old style non-digital gas pump. I was pumping when I looked at the price, $3.92/gallon, while all the gas we saw that afternoon was between $3.40 and $3.50. I have never in all my days heard of a place selling gas for more than 20 cents beyond another area station, and this was 40 to 50 cents more! I lunged for the pump to shut it off, but not before I'd been fleeced for 5 gallons. I asked inside why it was so much, and got a shrug. I don't like to get ripped off.
