112 came highly recommended and wow, I loved it! We had a reservation for a birthday dinner and were seated upstairs. The ambiance was so lovely and intimate. The tables are packed in close quarters, but everyone was very mindful of the space. For starters, we tried the frog legs - yum!! This was my first time trying frog legs and won't be my last based on this experience. For our mains, we had the Stringozzi with Lamb Sugo and the Nori Encrusted Bavette with Ponzu. The pasta was tasty and the lamb was well seasoned and marinated. The bavette was good, but not amazing. The service was perfect from beginning to end. Overall, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis!

I'd made a reservation for a date night dinner online, specifying a table seating, but somehow on their end they had me down for bar seating. I double checked the confirmation email to make sure it wasn't my error, and sure enough it definitely had been a table reservation. We had to wait a little bit but they did accommodate us.The downstairs area was very noisy, more like a gastropub than a restaurant, but we were seated upstairs which was much better for a date atmosphere. The food was quite good and gastronomically interesting. I particularly found the nori-crusted steak to be unique and very, very good. My partner had the pan-fried gnocchi which were pillowy, savory, and delicious. We came out of dinner full and satisfied, and I'd certainly consider going back again. Definitely would aim for an upstairs table though, as the downstairs is cramped and noisy.

This place NEVER disappoints! From the ambiance, to the staff, to the food, I cannot say enough - it's just stunning! The bavette (flank steak) was out of bounds good - my husband stole it from me!! The lamb sugo is heaven-next day leftovers were dynamite. Just go here!!

We had a lovely experience here the other evening! We had came from a distillery that had less than satisfactory food options so we were excited to have some snacks that felt upscale and delicious and this more than satisfied. I wish I had caught our servers name but we had a server who was woman presenting with light hair who gave us great service and was very friendly throughout! We had a great booth spot in the bar area and thought the place was beautifully decorated. Volume was a bit loud because it was full but we didn't mind at all. They have great mocktail and cocktail options. My partner got a boozy drink and enjoyed it and because I was driving I got the envy me mocktail which had a great little zip of spice, I would definitely get it again, very fresh tasting and beautiful as well! They had a great variety of appetizers and mains available and we ended up getting a pasta with foie gras meatballs that was beautiful! We had an appetizer we enjoyed but the real star for us was the butterscotch budino for dessert which we paired with one of their recommended dessert liquors. Dessert was so amazing that we will definitely be coming back to try more! We spent around $100+ for the evening but it was well worth it for a nice date night. I would definitely recommend this place for couples who appreciate well made food and cocktails, such a fun night!

I couldn't be more impressed by 112 Eatery - every item we ordered was outstanding! In all honesty, we went here as other places were full but this should have been a first choice. Everything was amazing, our waitress was soooo helpful and attentive the entire time. Provided a thorough breakdown of the menu and was insight with the wine. We ordered the 112 Steak Tartare - this was insanely good. Their rendition was so very tasty. The octopus was another dish we ordered and I hope it never leaves the menu - the most perfect pairing of all ingredients, I would have ordered 3 more if I could. Amazing! We had the tagliatelle , stringozzi, and the gnocchi - all three were stellar. The gnocchi shined the brightest as the flavors were incredibly bold and the quantity of lobster was so generous. I highly recommend the gnocchi! The other pasta dishes did not lack in flavor or pizzaz at all - they were all so tasty and offered different avenues of flavor. I can not wait to come back here in the future! 112 Eatery is so special

If someone asks me "where should I go for a date night?", I always say 112 Eatery! Truly so delicious and I think about the meatballs for months until I get to come back! The food is exceptional and the staff are so kind and helpful with deciding what to order. Highly recommend to go before hitting up a show or just for a great date night or celebration spot! I love all the little rooms and places that every time you go you might sit in a new room.

Always one of my favorite local eateries. I've never had a bad item on the menu. Everything is fresh and interesting, there's always some old favorites as well as some new things to try. My personal favorites are the cheeseburger, the fois gras meatball pasta and the lamb scottadito. I have never sat down in the bar, only upstairs. It is definitely a loud place to hang out as it's just one open room with tall ceilings. Service is usually good.

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Based on them having beef tartare and lamb on the menu, I knew why partner would love it. We started off with the 112 tartare. It was good but was missing something...not sure what. We also had the octopus which was amazing. I had the prime bavette for my entree. It also was delicious and just the right size. For dessert, we split the butterscotch budino and a brown butter bourbon. I would return just for the budino! The brown butter bourbon is very much bourbon with a hint of browned butter. I thought it was very good as well, but would probably just prefer the bourbon. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

112 Eatery is one to add to your list. Whether you are having dinner before going to a show, meeting your besties to kick off a night on the town, or taking a family member out to eat, you will love having delicious food and pleasant service in a beautiful slice of history. As is characteristic of many restaurants in the North Loop, 112 Eatery has preserved the original character of the building that it is in while also adding its own touches. We sat in the smaller room upstairs--I highly recommend it. We arrived early and found it easy to have a conversation. (As the evening progressed, it did get louder, but it was still quieter than the larger dining areas.) The upstairs powder room is very cute, too--I loved the wallpaper! My host described the environment as "come as you are," and that is very apt. You'll be comfortable dressed casually. Going out on the town? That's okay, too. Dressed formally for a special event? All good--you will be comfortable. It feels classy but in a laid-back way. The food and drink offerings are sure to please everyone. There is an extensive beer and wine list, and there are plenty of cocktails as well. Zero Proof? They've got you covered! I enjoyed the Something Delicious (tart, sweet--it's a nostalgic treat!) and the California Love (imagine a Salty Dog but better), which definitely had me doing a little happy dance. We were spoiled for choice on our foods. Huge, enthusiastic praise for the dietary restrictions menu--every last menu item is there, with relevant restriction information noted. Thank you, thank you, thank you to 112 Eatery for making it easy to see which dishes met my dietary needs (or could be adapted to do so). I wish every restaurant menu was this clear. For a cold started, we ordered the burrata toast, which was the winner of the evening. This dish was creative and delicious, hitting every last taste (sweet, savory, salty, tart, and bitter) in each bite, plus checking all of the texture boxes. The bite of garlic, freshness of the basil, toasty astringency of the walnuts, the tart-sweet-bitter marmalade, and the mild creaminess of the burrara just sang to me in a way that few dishes do. Add in the crunchy bread with the taste of the grill? It's one for your bucket list. For my main, I got the vegetarian pasta. It was great! Mushrooms, oil, and lemon on flawlessly cooked ribbons of pasta and topped with breadcrumbs and fresh parsley. It was so delicious I almost (almost!) regretted having eaten so much burrata toast. This was a perfect end-of-winter-early-spring entree. For our sides, we got the cauliflower fritters and the Swiss chard. The cauliflower fritters are yummy--whole florets surrounded by a crispy batter and topped with cheese. Don't forget to squeeze in some lemon! Very tasty. Non-veggie folks will enjoy the anchovy butter--my host said that it has a pleasant bite. Those of you who are fans of Greek flavors will enjoy the Swiss chard. In addition to the feta, it features that wonderful combination of tomato and cinnamon that you find in Mediterranean cooking but not elsewhere. It was an unexpected and completely delicious surprise. I was about ready to burst at the seams, even after taking half of everything home, but there was a dessert menu, and it was calling me. My host ordered the horchata mousse. I got to try a bite. If you like horchata, order it. If you like rice pudding, order it. If you like pleasantly starchy, mildly sweet, and lightly spiced desserts, order it. It was very good and not at all heavy. If, on the other hand, you're in the mood for something richer that has salty notes and a hint of bitterness from caramelization, try the budino. Butterscotch pudding is topped with a generous layer of toasty caramel and some creamy mascarpone. It's a rich and delicious treat, amd you absolutely deserve it.This plus the lovely service from Mariana (thank you for helping me navigate the menu choices!) made for a wonderful dining experience. I absolutely recommend dinner here, either as part of a night out in the neighborhood or just to enjoy a meal.

In town for a work event, this is a quaint place with a ton of charm and INCREDIBLE food! I have never experienced 5 star dining like we did tonight. There were 7 of us, we had a variety of dishes and everything was perfection. Every ingredient could be tasted and the each dish is handled with care and perfection. The burrata toast with walnut pesto is a must!!!! Our waitress was AMAZING. She was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. She was an expert with all the options including vegan.I WILL BE BACK!
