Minami Teriyaki

My new favorite teriyaki place. The food is delicious but more importantly the owners here pick it up a notch by their warm welcoming smiles. I always come here feeling so welcomed and loved! They work with a smile. Ambiance and service: I'm telling you the ambiance looks casual and relaxed, but it's the welcoming friendly kind spirit in here that just makes this place special. I saw a family eating enjoying their food as I just waited for my takeout order. The workers smile at everyone - you just can't help but leave feeling so happy. Food: had the 1/2 chicken katsu 1/2 chicken teriyaki meal. The chicken katsu is delicious, nice crispy outer layer balancing the tender juicy meat inside dipped in a sweet tangy katsu sauce. Bam bam - flavor and texture magic. The chicken teriyaki is also delicious - soft glazed teriyaki sauce with a nice balance of fiery char flavor that gives the chicken a bolder taste profile. Two large scoops of rice and a delicious yet simple salad with gingery tangy sweet dressing. Yummy! I've also had their spicy chicken teriyaki and their core differentiator there is that their spicy chicken teriyaki is actually spicy! It's coated in red pepper powder and balanced with a sweetness. Their yakisoba noodles are also fire and so is their fried rice. I love this place. Takeout: btw the lady even created a steam vent in the takeout box AND the plastic bag to make sure our food stayed crispy and fresh during our drive home. She was very sweet! Plus points for easy parking and being one of the few restaurants that stay open past 8pm. I love coming here after going to the driving range nearby. All in all - love this small family business. You feel the passion and gratitude in here and for that I'm thankful to this place. So hard to find a place like this nowadays.

It's been awhile since I've had a lunch bento, but thanks to a colleague's recommendation I ended up here for lunch (3/13/23). Upon entering, very welcoming couple at the counter, perhaps the owners? Interior was clean and space well used. Tables well stocked with condiments. Utensils and takeout boxes were available nearby. Flat screen to mindlessly catch up on sports news. Wide variety of menu items are featured. I ended up with their B2, Beef Teriyaki Bento. Other bento protein choices included chicken, katsu, pork, and salmon.While waiting for lunch, I appreciated the availablity of lemon ice water, hot barley tea, and hot egg drop soup. The first two helps with digestion and got to keep hydrated. The soup was very flavorful and primes the tastebuds for your meal. The dining room filled up and they definitely do a steady stream of brisk takeout. Clearly they have the lunch rush down pat.This was both breakfast and lunch for me, so the variety and portions were perfect without feeling stuffed. Can't be in a post lunch coma returning to work! I saw other single entree dishes bring brought out to other tables, huge generous portions! My bento selection had a decent salad with sesame dressing, tender flavorful beef and not overly doused in teriyaki sauce, perfectly steamed rice, well prepared gyoza and shrimp, and a passable California roll. A bit skimpy on the wasabi and pickled ginger, but at least not wasteful. Satisfying breakfast/lunch meal. Hangry was averted!While onsite, I saw a massive delivery of chicken thighs brought in. That's indicative of the sheer volume they must do for both lunch and dinner.Overall this first visit was pleasant and extra star for the welcoming, upbeat attitude of the couple at the counter. Props too for the efficient kitchen staff who deal with volume without any issues.

Another great meal with excellent service. The owners always have a smile and are happy to take your order. Not every place is as kind. I ordered gyoza and tried the chicken stir fry this time. Gyoza came out in 5 min. Stir-fry shortly after, and it was a huge portion with a tasty flavor. All meals come with a drink, but I just chose a bottle of water. This is my go-to teriyaki place, plus it's a great location for parking and other restaurants in case your kids are picky like mine.

Not planned to come here but child was hungry and had little time. She loved fried rice so we ordered takeout on the way there. To my surprise food was ready within 10 minutes. The owner was super nice and friendly. We took it to eat outside but there are tables inside. The fried rice was AWESOME! It was hot with lots of delicious chicken pieces. I would say it's one of the best fried rice dishes we have had. Maybe we were just hungry haha. But definitely would come back to try more food here!

Really great teriyaki spot. I got delivery and they managed to package the gyoza and egg rolls well enough where they stayed crispy on the drive over. I got spicy chicken teriyaki and chicken yakisoba. The chicken teriyaki was good, nothing out of the ordinary but I enjoyed it and the portion was huge it lasted me 3 meals. The chicken yakisoba I thought was great! Lots of good veggies and again, huge portion sizes. My food was ready quickly and I felt like the prices were good as well. Definitely a spot I would go back to.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!I'm convinced this place is perfection. Nothing we have order has been below amazing! I love the salad options and my hubby loves the yakisoba! Locally owned and operated! The owners are always the sweetest! Service is quick and efficient! Our only place for teriyaki that we go to!

I adore this mom and pop teriyaki place. I've ordered takeout from their website several times and they are consistently welcoming and kind upon pickup. Bonus - the food is always on time and ready when they say it will be. From a food perspective, you can't go wrong with their Teriyaki Chicken & Chicken Curry. The chicken is nicely cooked (moist instead of the dry kind I typically encounter) and has a great grilled flavor. Portions are pretty big too! The amount of curry sauce they give you is incredibly generous - fantastic for soaking into your rice and perfect for a rainy evening at home.

Yum, yum, yum! A new staple for us. Ordered some takeout to watch the evening New Years bowl games. We ordered:- Chicken yakisoba (10/10 - our fave! so flavorful)- Half chicken teriyaki, half chicken katsu (8.5/10)- Egg rolls (9/10)- Gyoza (7/10)Portions are generous, and prices were reasonable. We paid for delivery, tipped our driver, and spent about $60 total.
