Mina Lounge

Every time I come here, the service is 10/10. The hookah is great. The bowls are made to last they maintain the heat amazingly. The drinks are always good. They play great music. EVERYTIME I'm in San Diego I always make Mina a place to go.

48 minutes to be seated as a party of oneI tried to enter alone but they refused me because I looked intoxicated; It was 2:00am and after smoking a bowl I wanted to attend the Hookah lounge. At first they denied me because I seemed intoxicated, then when I asked again 45 minutes later I get told that it's probably because I of how I acted another night. I've only ever been here one other time and even then I was on my phone playing Sea Battle on the iPhone while smoking hookah 04/13/24 I do appreciate the head of security for accommodating me in the end though.Written 04/14/24

After a few stops downtown we wanted some hookah and found our way here. We were seated in the back and immediately greeted by our server Emily(amazing BTW). We ordered some drinks and one hookah. We went with double Apple and mint, but the mint was a bit overpowering. Still we had a good time. We ended up being there for a while and ordering a second hookah. The flavors for this one weren't as strong as we went with fruit flavors and fruit juice as the base. All in all it was an amazing time and I highly recommend this spot.

Love this hookah lounge! As an Arab Persian I'm picky about my hookah and they have good hookah!!! They're always changing the coals and checking on you if you need anything. Kiersten is the sweetest host! I love her energy. The older man at the front door idk his name but he's always so welcoming. Ricco was super nice too. I feel like a regular here now since I go every time after dinner with friends or just to study and work. I DO WISH THEY WOULD INSTALL MORE OUTLETS for laptops. Like the livingroom used to be the spot growing up to study during the day, but they closed down, would love for this to be the same vibe. I actually got so much work done here in an hour. So bakery items and coffee would be amazing too. As matter of fact, who's the owner, let's sit down and discuss some ideas might just fk around and buy this place after law school. That's how much I like it. It's vibey af.

I was in town for a conference and stopped by to support a local business in downtown. They're next to a large parking structure which is nice so you don't have to walk far. When I got there on a Wednesday night, they weren't crowded but by the time I left a few hours later, they were packed. It's a sit where you want to setup, indoor and outdoor space. The indoor is cozy with a lot of seating. They have a full bar, kitchen and hookah. I didn't get anything but hot tea and hookah and enjoyed the experience. The wait staff and coal bearer weren't pushy and left the customers to enjoy their hookahs. I would come back the next time I'm in town. Pros: Great recommendations (try blue mist, WGB and melon blue)Casual atmosphere with great wait staffCons:Minimal lighting outsideSuggested limited time of session of 75 minutes. I noticed it posted on a sign, but that might be for busy days/times.

This place is great the location is awesome and everyone is so nice, I came from the Bay Area and they were very welcoming and fun !

Came down to San Diego for a quick getaway and came here to enjoy some hookah. Was recommended to come here by a local restaurant. Been to many hookah lounges and this was clean and the owner had patron seating organized which helped with flow and ambiance. Ordered vanilla, mint and rose for myself and wife had gummy bear and vanilla. The vanilla, mint, and rose was smooth and wife liked it better than hers. Rico was on it refreshing the coals and made the experience fun.We also ordered a few rounds of drinks. I ordered a watermelon mojito and cucumber gimlet, both of which were refreshing and not to strong. Beer order was on tap and cold. Overall this was a great place to enjoy yourself and I appreciate the attention to detail for ambiance, quality hookah, service, good music, cleanliness and great security.

It's exactly what I wanted after a long weekend, the hookah lasted a few hours, and the flavor was mixed well. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!
