Our new favorite restaurant!One of the best pizza brick oven pizzas I have ever had! The crust is crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I especially love the funghi and classic calzone ( with ham added) pizza. Their tiramisu is out of the world amazing. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.Family friendly and always helpful and kind.

Food presentation is very pretty but lacked hot and fresh and flavor.We did have to ask for Silverware after served food, easy mistake but attempted to ask for hot sauce and salt and pepper a few times but the server was so busy and would drop off food and be gone before we could ask.Ambiance is cute and this is a nice restaurant. We drove from north Scottsdale to try there arancini balls ! They came warm not even close to hot and fresh and the cheese in the middle was barely melted. I still enjoyed it, but kinda felt like they was just warmed up and handed to us! The cocktails was amazing and the price was absolutely affordable and high quality made! I had the spaghetti & meatballs, my husband had the chicken pasta, both were okay. But not flavorful at all. My pasta noddles was steaming, but my meatballs was warm and lacked spices or any flavor at all, so it was a little disappointing. I feel like if you're in the mood for a Neighborhood Italian this is the place! But i didn't get the taste of flavor or pasta sauce and food was authentic made fresh, tasted as if the food is just on a warmer in the kitchen ready to serve.

We visited on a Saturday evening and while the place was packed up, we were still able to get a seat and the service was understandably on the slow side. They say, never order anything in a restaurant's specials but when the wait staff showed me that a seafood risotto was on the specials menus, I could not resist. Food took a long time to arrive which wouldn't have been bad if the food was properly prepared. The Laveen Salad was a disappointing affair for $10. Paltry portions of leafty greens and some thinly sliced cheese thrown together. Then comes the risotto, which was a mix of lobster, fish and clams in white sauce. While everything was delicious, it wasn't until I worked towards the middle of the fish that I realized it was pink and translucent inside. I probably ate some of the pink uncooked portions and didn't realized it since it was mixed in with warm rice and sauce and the lighting inside the restaurant was poor. Uncooked food- Minus 2 stars. We told the waitress about it by showing her the uncooked portion. She asked if I wanted another plate but what purpose would that serve? By then my dinner was almost done and I'm not about to wait another 30mins. The waitress returned with our check and mentioned she told the chef about it but made no gesture to make up for the fact that they served uncooked fish. I didn't expect them to take the cost of the dish off completely since I ate most of the meal and the uncooked fish was the last thing on the plate I worked on but at least a recognition of "hey we messed up, here is 25% off" but nothing of the sort. Minus one star for accountability. The evening when we went home, sure enough I had diarrhea afterwards from the food. Another star taken off. I'll never come back here again.

So after visiting this hidden Laveen gem 2 weeks ago and having so great Lasagna I had to go back and try their pizza. My son and I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive. We had calamari and an IPA to start with and the beer was cold and the calamari had great flavor. We each order a pizza and wow the crust was nice and thick and delicious. The pizza are cooked in a big fireplace oven from Italy. The prices are very affordable for this wonderful food. This is hands down the best pizza in the South Mountain Laveen area and will I am definitely going back more on a regular basis

We came here to try the pizza on a Thursday night, although fairly busy we found 2 seats at the bar right away. The pizza was delicious crispy crust and the cheese was very flavorful. Service was great, very friendly and efficient. The place is cute not too big but they get quite a few tables in this place!

Tried the Calzone Fritto(?) and it was quite good. I usually prefer a LOT of ricotta in my calzone, but this is a different style. I still would have preferred a little more ricotta, and next time I'll just ask them to add some more. Everything else about it was very good. I probably should have taken half of it home, but it was too good to put down. I ate it all. The bad part is that I was too full to have one of their many delicious sounding deserts...This is only the second time I've been here since they opened. I really need to come more often. Everything on the menu looks so good. The first time I was here my friends ordered, and I never even looked at the menu.Our server, Josephina was great. She was very helpful choosing from the menu. Such a nice looking, cozy place with some great menu options.

Nice ambience. Pizza was decent but the butcher was WAY too greasy. Like a pool of grease making the pizza soggy greasy. If that's your thing, go for it. The fungi was great by comparison. Salad was the best thing, but the pizza crust is great. Willing to try again and hope the other toppings won't ruin the pizza as much.Service was great and friendly.
