Zumpano's Ristorante & Pizzeria

Came here for a quick bite after the fair. Not very crowded, but they had an adequate staff. I ordered the manicotti, which came with soup or salad, I ordered the salad, and my girlfriend ordered stuffed shells, and she also ordered the salad. We also added mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. Our mozzarella sticks came out fine (hot and delicious). Our entrées came out, and they were also delicious, however, they forgot to bring our salads. Our server didn't even apologize, she just asked if we wanted them to go. All in all, it was a good tiny experience, except for not getting our salads. They really need to pay more attention to the orders, especially when it's not busy. Attention to detail!!!

Rapidly becoming our favorite local Italian restaurant. All meals are generous and very tasty. Staff is happy to alter ingredients...more or less garlic, etc. Service is quick and responsive. Wish it was in Lake Geneva but don't goes!

They have a small but nice little dining room, service was good. Decent selection of draft beer. I had the veal piccata which was real good. So was the spaghetti and meat sauce. Worth going again,

Service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. 1 of the 3 meals was good. The other 2 left us feeling lousy. Won't be going back.

Love this place! They are quick and I've always gotten great deals and service from them!

I visited here for dinner recently with a friend. We were attending the annual "Light the Night" festivities and did not have a reservation.We were seated after about 15-20 minutes, which seemed quite reasonable for the walk-in traffic.We both were impressed by the breadth of the menu of Italian food, but opted for a good old Wisconsin fish fry.I started with a sangria, or tried to, but it did come out with the meal. It was good and filled with fresh fruit.We had the battered cod fish fry with potato pancakes. When the plates came out, they did not look promising. Fish and pancakes were a uniform size of round disk and the same color. They were served with tartar, coleslaw, and apple sauce.Appearances were deceiving in this case. The pancakes had texture and actual potato flavor. They were a little heavy, but not dense.The fish was deliciously crispy and still moist.Service was friendly and timing was good, especially considering the rush.I'd recommend it for sure.

Had our son's rehearsal dinner here and it was very good. Everyone enjoyed the food (pizzas, baked pasta w/meatballs, salad) and everything was served in very large quantities. Everything was ready when we arrived and service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The place is small and clean, nothing fancy, just a nice neighborhood pizza restaurant. Guests went to the bar for drinks and we ran a tab. They nicely packaged all of the leftovers for us and we enjoyed them later on. Prices were reasonable but there was some miscommunication about the pasta/meatball order and it ended up costing a lot more that quoted. Communication was a little difficult because it was mostly through emails that weren't answered too quickly, but it is a mom & pop place so they aren't sitting on their computer all day. Definitely a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual place for dinner or to host a group for an occasion like ours.

We have been here before and the lasagna, calzones and pizza are really good. They also bring you handmade sourdough rolls that were really good with the olive oil and Italian spices. Not knowing that we were getting the rolls with our pizza, we ordered the "homemade" garlic bread.This "homemade" garlic bread was a cut up, burnt, hot dog bun!!!! Then they have the nerve to charge $7 for it!!!!Unbelievable for an Italian restaurant to serve that crap as homemade garlic bread. Sacrilegious!!! You'd think they'd step up their game on that. Terrible! We were stunned.No lie, a hot dog bun!!!!

Called in for delivery and asked about the size of the Sicilian style pizza, it was listed on the website for $19 plus $2 per topping. I was told the size was about the same as two large. We were charged over $30, after asking why it was so much money we were told prices are subject to change, so we paid thinking it was still a fair price for what we expected. When it arrived the pizza was smaller than a 16" pizza. We called thinking they forgot a second box because it had a fresh cut on the edge. The person on the call told us we got what we paid for and insisted we were wrong about what we were telling him. Overall the pizza was bland and we probably won't be ordering from there again.

We have dined in and catered from zumpano's many times over the years and we consistently are impressed by the food and service. Thank you for making sure our family is well fed!
