The cashew chicken is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad this location opened up! I cannot find this dish anywhere on the west coast that even comes remotely similar. Great customer service, great food, highly recommend.

Oh Yen Ching, how I've missed you. When you say Chinese food in Milwaukee my mind goes to 76th/GooodHope and the original Yen Ching. 20 years ago when my wife was pregnant with our first child Yen Ching was the pregnancy craving destination and did she ever have a frequent craving. We were so disheartened when the location changed hands.To say we were thrilled that our favorite is back is an understatement. Sizzling rice soup, so awesome to have you back.So there are a few (5) seats at a counter and two tables outside for the summer months. Unfortunately it's pretty much take out only, but I guess we'll take it to get the food back. Friendly counter service and still excellent food. Welcome back Yen Ching. We're happy to see you.

I stopped in this past week and was most impressed with the customer service. There were three people I interacted with each very professional and kind. My food was ready a few minutes before my pick up time which was great.For rather inexpensive and fast Chinese food it was pretty much what you would expect. Everything was good but I wouldn't say anything was great.Cashew Chicken: the chicken was nice and crispy and the actual cashews with the sauce were very good but something about the chicken itself wasn't doing it for us, this was the least touched of our orderBeef lo mein: this was one of our favorites. The beef seemed to be higher quality than other restaurants we've had it at. Would have loved just a little more flavor. We ended up adding some garlic and hoisin at home to get it to our taste.Crab rangoons: can't go wrong they were good! Chicken fried rice: this seemed to be lighter and a tad less flavorful than other similar restaurants in the area, but still good.Chicken egg roll: this was probably my favorite of the bunch!Will look forward to going back and trying a few more dishes to see how they stack up!

Extremely expensive compared to their competitors. Taste is average Chinese food. Why are they greedy expensive? Grubhub delivery is free with Prime membership except Not here. They charge $3.99 for "free" grubhub delivery plus they add a Service Charge - just because. This charge is a % of your total. Bottom line, they charge high prices for the entrees and add a Service Charge for no reason other than GREEDY price gouging. I am on a doctors no drive order right now. Once I can drive again, I won't order from Yen Chin Express. Kings Wok is delicious, my recommendation and my preference.

Enjoy the limited menu selection that they had as " a take out restaurant "They only had 5 spots to sit at if you wanted to "eat in" otherwise you can sit outside when the weather was nicer Just miss patronizing the old restaurant on 76st St and Good Hope back in the day

Absolutely delicious, fast and affordable. My order of cashew chicken and beef & broccoli was ready in about 8 minutes and tasted amazing. The only thing that I didn't like was that my fortune cookie... (not joking)... did not contain a fortune. I'm not really sure what to make of it and the lack of fortune left me slightly disturbed.

Ordered on Christmas Eve as is our family tradition. It was very busy but the food was still as fantastic as I remember it on 76th st. The menu is somewhat limited for a Chinese restaurant, but if you remember going to the old location you know their staples. The cashew chicken is the best I've ever had and I'll die on that hill! Portions were smaller than most Chinese places that are to go...don't know if that was just the case cause it was so busy?? I'll have to go once more and update. Anyhow, we were very pleased.

So glad to have yen Ching back!! We used to go all the time to the old location. The crab Rangoons are the GOAT! Nothing like them anywhere else. Love the Mongolian beef as well. The cashew chicken unfortunately gets soggy in the takeout container so it isn't as good as it was fresh. Still definitely recommend ! Will be frequenting!

We constantly heard about how good the food was here so we were excited to try it. Our order consisted of a lunch cashew chicken with fried rice and an orange chicken lunch with fried rice . We also had vegetables egg rolls. The fried rice really didn't have much flavor to it am I orange chicken was a little dry, but the sauce was really good. The eggrolls were salty and we're just OK.. The cashew chicken was just OK. We have definitely had better at other places.. The service was quick and the food came out fast a little expensive for the portion size.
