Had the Greenback with sweet potato fries. Almost surprised I ordered it-it had fried jalapeños in it. Well it was spicy, I could eat it!The sweet potato fries were excellent, with large grains of salt on them.Maybe because they were not getting a lot of business, they were closing half an hour before they normally do. A couple people were walking up trying to get food but they were buttoning it up. I got the last lunch they served.

This truck is alright by me. The pulled chicken is delicious. It's moist and has really good flavor. We had the Dyl sandwich (not really sure what the actual full name is). I appreciate that the bread is homemade, and that it's a pita/naan type bread. However with all the wetness of the chicken, it got real mushy real fast. Not so bueno, especially when you're eating at a park on the ground. The fries are a waste. They were bland and also pretty mushy. I'd consider ordering from here again because the chicken meat itself was delicious, but considering all the other trucks that come to the event local to my fiancee's house, there's better options.

Upgrade! This truck keeps putting out great food! I've had a couple of sandwiches since my last review, with the most recent being the Mexican Cousin ($9) today. Pulled rotisserie chicken breast seasoned with a house made southwest seasoning blend is topped with roasted tomato, sautéed peppers and onions, black olives (just a few, so not too many), cumin sour cream, Chihuahua cheese, and organic blue corn tortilla crumble. I don't recall biting into or seeing the blue corn tortilla crumble, but I can confirm everything else. Most importantly, this sandwich was amazing! All of the sandwiches are served between pita bread slices, and you can add fries for $1, I believe Sweet Potato Fries are a little more than $1 to add. This sandwich also came with the option to add a side of guacamole for $1. Doesn't need it, but what the hell, you may as well just do it.YellowBellies is currently in my Top 5 favorite food trucks in Milwaukee for flavor, quality and value (adding the side of fries for $1 supports my value case). Look for the yellow truck with the big wishbone on it.

Mothercluckin' tasty sandwiches!I happened to be in Cedarburg and the YellowBellies truck happened to be in front of the store I was headed to. I had planned to go home and eat a boring ham sandwich but one look at the menu board easily changed my mind. There's lots to love about this food truck:*Homemade pita-ish bread*Homemade sauces like blue cheese and BBQ*Moist, delicious pulled chicken (there is generally 1 veg and 1 non-chicken option too)*Homemade soup - today's was pulled chicken dumpling*High quality ingredients. My sandwich had thick cut bacon that was crisp and not flabby - I really, really appreciate that*Super friendly staffers*Fast service, even when there's a lineFor $9 I had the "Motherclucker" which is essentially a buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese spread, bacon, avocado and homemade "hot sauce" (really Buffalo sauce and it's not really hot). It was a generous serving and as Kelly notes, quite messy so be prepared for that. Overall, it was one of the better sandwiches I've had recently - I'd probably prefer a lighter hand on the buffalo sauce as it can overwhelm everything else but I'll know to ask for that next time. For an extra $1 you can add fries but I was virtuous and abstained for once.Definitely check these mothercluckers out if you see the truck around town.

Customer service is amazing and the food is great. I've tried a few different sandwiches of theirs but I have to say the Mexican Cousin sandwich is my absolute favorite with a side of sweet potato fries. I work by the US Bank building and they have their food truck around their often. Most of the time it has a huge line so it'll take a little bit of time to place your order and get it but the Mexican Cousin sandwich is so worth it. The sweet potato fries are always fresh and nicely seasoned as well. I don't really order any other sandwich from them now except the Mexican Cousin. If you ever see them around I'd recommend giving them a try.

The thing that I LOVE most about this place was the fact that they use REAL CHICKEN! And Rotisserie Chicken at that! All of the sandwiches sounded delicious, but I tried the cashier's Recommendation of the Mother Clucker. It was the most unique sandwich to try and I'm glad that I did. It had avocado, greens, hot sauce, and some other toppings, but just this combination of listed ingredients was enough for me to try it. Their french fries had some garlic Parmesan tossed on them and they were delicious as well. I'll def try them again!

I eat at this food truck outside the City Center every chance I get. Totally brightens my day when I see on their online schedule that they will be nearby. This place is the absolute talk of my office, and once I tried it I saw why! The cashier (who I've been informed is named Erin) is super friendly and the prices are very fair. The handcut fries are hands down the best fries I've ever had. Wait times are minimal. Love this place!

I got the only vegetarian menu option. The black bean fill was pretty bland and the fries however were extremely salty. All of the chicken items on the menu sound great. While all the food trucks on Wisconsin and Van Buren are getting great business on a week day lunch, I know many people who await patiently to get their chicken sandwiches from here on Thursdays. I definitely recommend to try for yourself to those who eat chicken and do not mind a carb coma after lunch.

Oh holy yum. New fave in town people! I hadn't seen YellowBellies at Food Truck Tuesday before, so I jumped right in the long line right when I saw it. The menu consists of all shredded chicken "pockets", except the two specials are different - today was a Cheesesteak! The truck is cute, and boasts that the fries and bread are made "in-truck", as are most of the sauces and garnishes they use. Love it! The line moved quickly, and food came out in a timely manner as well. I went with the Mother Clucker which seems to be the most popular one. It was shredded chicken, lettuce, avocado, blue cheese and hot sauce. It was AMAZING. The chicken was shredded evenly, the seasoning on the meat was great, and the stuffing was full! BEWARE that they are a MESS! It's good that they don't skimp, but I walked around the rest of the workday with orange hot sauce staining my light jeans. I opted for the $2 upcharge for russet fries ($3 for sweet potato) that were topped with garlic, parmesan and parsley. They were cooked perfectly and a good portion as well.I devoured this sandwich - and I'm looking forward to trying their others!

Yellowbellies is hands down the best food truck in the city if not the state. The food is absolutely amazing, and you can't go wrong with any of their menu items. But if you can't decide just start with the classic OG w/ fries! The crew is incredible often going above and beyond what is necessary to give the best possible customer experience. Be sure to get there early to avoid the inevitable line of hungry regulars!
