Yadanarmon Superstore

This is a Burmese grocery. You may not find all of what you need to make items for a Japanese or Chinese menu, but the people who work here are friendly and helpful and the prices seem to be right.Apparently there is only a small Burmese population in Milwaukee so there are no Burmese restaurants. I will have to look up some Burmese recipes to try to make full use of this place.

One of the best grocery stores in MKE!! The family that owns the store is incredibly nice and happy to show you their food and culture. They have fresh food made every Saturday which I highly recommend for lunch, with a large selection of exotic produce, frozen meats and sauces. Stop by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch to go, don't forget the bag of Asian Lays potato chips as a side.
