Woody's Bar & Grill

This is a small town bar and there is limited seating. To avoid a wait go at an "off" time and enjoy your food! We sat in the bar area at a table up against the wall and quickly had a server there to help us. She ran through the specials and we had our drinks in no time! She was fast and attentive! We ordered the cheese curd flight to start with. White cheddar, Dill, and cheddar curds fried to absolute perfection! Would I go back just to order this? YES! The curds rotate so make sure to ask what is on the flight on any given day. The hand breaded perch was very good! The breading was different then I had in the past and I enjoyed it. The Cajun baked cod was on the dry side sadly, but I couldn't even be mad. If you are going for a fish fry...get it fried. I made a rookie mistake and I am not a rookie LOL! None-the-less I still eat the entire piece of fish so it couldn't be all bad, right!?We will be going back to try additional menu options. Also make sure to keep an eye on he Facebook page where they post the weekly specials. It'll be hard not to go try one once you see the pictures.

Woody's Bar & Grill was delicious! Even though it was crowded when we got there, it turns over quickly. So don't give up on getting a seat. Definitely start out with the cheese curd flight. It was the perfect appetizer for 2 people. The flavors this time were regular, jalapeño, and Nashville hot. However, none of them were spicy, they were just delicious! I got the burger and the cheese spread was amazing I would definitely get it again. My dad got the side of onion rings (aka steak house rings) and I would get those next time. Potatoes were good, but onion rings were better. He also got the big wood, and it was the perfect ratio of cheese to bread. There's nothing worse than a grilled cheese with too much bread and not enough cheese! Luckily for him, that wasn't the case at Woody's. If you are looking for a total "classic Wisconsin tavern" woody's bar is for you! Check it out.

Woody's Bar & Grill is a small local bar and grill with good burgers, fish fry, and a personal favorite, fried pickles. They also have a cheese curd flight for cheese lovers. This establishment is small with limited dining seating so it's best to go during off times to avoid the crowd and if you're going for Fish Fry Friday, go early. Woody's, where the staff is friendly and the food is good. We will be returning!

The drinks are good, heavy pours. The cheese curds were not your traditional kind of cheese curds. They are battered in thick batter and were not good. The music continued to get louder and louder to the point that even when the waitress came over she made a comment and ultimately had the bartender turn it down. We just went for drinks and apps but I do not think I would return. There were a lot of families eating at the time, so maybe the food is worthwhile?

This place was a pleasant surprise! We were looking for a place for lunch on our way back to Illinois. Decided to stop here and try it. The staff was very friendly and clearly this a place the locals go. We ordered burgers that came cooked perfectly and so juicy. Had a hard time finishing mine which came with 4 cheese curds skewered on top of the pretzel bun. We saw the massive mozzarella sticks that come wrapped in egg roll wrappers go by. The salads looked amazing and their nachos of the day were also massive. So glad we chose this little place over a few we passed by.

We loved the cheese curd flight and the mozz sticks that were huge!! Staff was great and service was two thumbs up!!

I had lunch there today and it was excellent. I ordered the McWoody burger, it had a wonderful grilled flavor, juicy meat, and a grilled bun that was slightly crunchy. Big enough I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The waitress promptly gave us menu's and took our order. She was funny and accommodating. Cute place!

The food at Woody's is much better under new owners, a service is friendly and efficient. Giving it 4* because they nickel and dime you on things like mayo (.75), lettuce, tomato & onion on a $13 chicken sandwich ($1.50), tarter sauce for a $17 fish fry (.75). Coleslaw is homemade but subpar.

This is our go to restaurant. Darla and Marina Omar our faves. Recommend the chicken crack and the mcwoody. We have never had a bad meal here. Small number of tables but they turn quickly.

I don't often leave reviews however I felt very inclined to after eating at Woody's Friday night fish fry! The wait staff was incredibly friendly and patient with our children, even though they were extremely busy. The food was delicious, I highly recommend their fish fry and mozzarella sticks! We will definitely be going back!
