Great higher-end grocery store near Woodlake Inn and in the strip mall area!We were here for the weekend visiting, so weren't grocery shopping - but we had heard they made great breakfast and lunch sandwiches, so gave them our business a few times since we were staying at the hotel in walking distance. It was a bit on the pricier side, but seemed to fit the vibe of the store and clientele. I got a matcha in the morning (a bit grainier than I like) and a protein shake in the afternoon since I missed the 3pm food cutoff (which was a little chalky for my taste). The service was a bit slow and unfocused, so I ended up waiting a bit both times.I loved that they had complimentary samples of food and drink out - and both were delicious! Our friends that ate breakfast and lunch here raved about the food, but I wasn't able to get anything besides drinks during our stay.

Enjoy this place so much, I go out of my way to visit. My primary reason... it's one of the closer places to me that sells my favorite coffee (Colectivo). But... I have found so many other reasons. Like their awesome in store Cafe, or their great deli/meat department. They also have a remarkable wine/liquor and beer section with so many unique spirits to chose from. All this is pretty remarkable for a small grocery store. The people who work there seem to be much more invested in their job compared to a regular chain grocery store. (And are mostly adults) Yes, the cost is most likely higher than big box, but to me it's worth (at least once in a while) a few more bucks to have better choices and great service.

Woodlake Market is a nice and newer marketplace store located in a newish strip mall called The Shops at Woodlake. This strip mall is less than 1/2 mile from the Kohler Design Center and was recommended to us for a casual lunch stop. I had a nice grilled cheese sandwich with ham for $9 and ate it in their clean and comfortable dining area. The store and products look on par with a Whole Foods but I didn't look at their prices. It was perfect for us for a road trip lunch stop.

What a great market. I needed some gasoline and java on the road. I got the gas at the next door gas station but their coffee looked a little scary to me so off I went in search of a Starbucks. I didn't find a Starbucks near by but I found a cafe inside this market and inside this market I found the most amazing salads, local beers, cheeses, and a station of lightly flavored organic olive oils. Great service I was asked if I needed help and got some great recommendations. At the check out the manager gave me a glass from the local brewery as their promo this week. Can we please open this store in Evanston, Illinois?!

This place had expensive written all over it as I walked in but I was completely surprised at how affordable everything was. This store looks tiny from the outside but it enormous on the inside. This place has everything you would find in a regular grocery store and then some. A couple of things that I thought were unique, were the make your own pasta bar and the make your own pizza bar. Each one was $6.99 a pound, so do not put 3 lbs of cheese on your pizza or it's gonna be expensive. They will even cook your pizza for you for free but you have to give them 10 minutes to bake it. I've never seen this at any store. They also had an area for kids to play at. There was a 46 inch flat screen playing cartoons and a table with a place for them to draw and color. The only part that scared me was that this was right at the front door, so it's not like you could leave your child and go shopping. So it was a good idea but I didn't think it was that safe. There was a ton of fresh seafood, meat and cheese. I also saw deli sandwiches and a salad bar. So you could stop in for groceries or a full meal. I was impressed with the craft brews. The section was huge and there were so many to choose from plus most of them were all chilled and ready to go. There was also a nice selection of wine to choose from and a walk in cooler chilling some wines and cases of domestic beers. We also found a section of day old donuts. A bag of 2 was $0.85...that was a great deal and they tasted good. If you do decide to eat here, there is plenty of seating inside or on the outdoor patio. Plus do not forget about the free wifi.

The prices are laughable. The deli items could be of better quality and ingredients. I don't think I've ever paid $7 for organic celery or more than $2 for a lemon while living in some of the most expensive counties in America ever. Their pressed juice that can sit for a few days is $12 for a small bottle. (Fresh juice loses almost all its nutrients after a day.) Yes, inflation is real, but their prices were so absurd, I left with an empty cart on principle alone.

The noise from the juicers is not just loud but very obnoxious. Don't expect to have a nice lunch in their cafe because you can't talk over the noise.

Up from a 1-star review. The renovated entry and product dept. are brighter and cleaner. And the juice bar is an welcome addition. Hopefully this modern aesthetic funnels into other areas of the store which can appear more dated and cluttered by comparison.Although not quite at the level of a high end organic grocery, the quality of the organic produce here has improved. Non-organic products share the space so you have to hunt around a bit. And depending on the day, rubbery trash-worthy celery, cilantro, and other items can be found for sale.Regarding prices, it's known that organic, and non-GMO costs more, but prices are sky high here. Looking forward to Stefano's Slo Food Market coming in 2022.I have used Apple Pay here, and have seen it not working a number of times. Hopefully they iron out the kinks in their payment system. The customer rewards program is worth using, but would prefer if it was App-based and/or Apple Wallet capable.

My husband and I were here in June and I've been meaning to leave a review. We always stop here when we are in the area. We appreciate a lot of the unique choices for food and beverage and always enjoy perusing the selections. The staff is very friendly and helpful, particularly the manager, Clay. He noticed us looking at some craft sodas and even opened 2 bottles of different flavors for us to try. Who else does that?! We will continue to be loyal customers here whenever we are in the area.

I live at Cedar Beach and frequent this place often. Try the banana bread. Great service and high end. It is worth the extra money.
