Bacon appetizer. Very tasty, but had to order giant pretzel to offset the grease. Would be nice if some bread came as a side.
Lots of beer, but we went with the hard stuff since we were staying at the hotel.
Lamb chops with caramelized onions. I also got the truffle macaroni and cheese. Delicious!
Best pretzel ever! It came out super hot/fresh. The beer cheese dipping sauce is perfect.

So first off this restaurant is inside of a hotel so it feels very sterile. To start your meal you get 5 pieces of bread with butter. Big whoopdie doo. I ordered the 5 oz $50 sirloin. What restaurant doesn't offer an 8 or 10 oz filet?? Also if I'm paying $50 for a steak I better get a soup or salad. My husband ordered the 16 oz ribeye. He said his ribeye was good. The Brussel sprouts we ordered were not good, don't order them. The truffle fries were good but were too crunchy. We waited 10 minutes for our waitress to come and greet us and get us a drink. I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK. EVER.

The wife and I are visiting Hartford WI and staying at the Cobblestone Inn. Had a big lunch so looked for light meal and drinks. Wissota Chophouse is downstairs connected to the hotel. The drinks are great and the food is high quality. It costs a bit more, but good value. Service was excellent.

Everything I've had here was incredible. Mushroom risotto was as good as it gets. The side dishes for two are massive.

Stayed at the cobblestone hotel in Hartford. First of all great hotel and would stay here again. No complaints on the the hotel itself. My wife and I went downstairs to Wissota for a cocktail and a wedge salad, we were the only people there that night and the attached picture is our wedge salad... I've never ordered a wedge salad from anywhere and got only the core of the wedge... you would expect for the price to at least have some green leafs as a part of your wedge, but instead we got the core of the head of the head of lettuce... very disappointing for the price.

The night we went in (Saturday) we didn't need a reservation, which was great. But can be slightly worrisome if not a lot of people are going to the place. For the price you pay for the steaks, I would expect nothing but a great cut of meat. Both of are steaks were top cuts on the menu but were thinner than I expected. When I buy the same cut of meat at Costco or my local butcher, the cuts are 1"-1.5" thick. These were maybe 3/4" and I needed to send mine back because of course it was over cooked. I ordered medium rare and it was more medium to medium well. We have a gift card from our wedding and plan to give it another try soon. I'm just hoping the experience is better.

Excellent service and food last night! Read several reviews prior and yes each course was in the sense slower than mid westerners are use to. What an enjoyable slow paced fine dining experience. We started with Fried goat cheese appetizer and let me say unique and delicious. There was no rush to begin entrée. All four meals were exceptional!! New York strip & garlic mashed potatoes, jumbo prawns & truffle fries, chicken tortellini & nueske's bacon truffle Mac & cheese and the Wissota burger. We can't pass on dessert! Chocolate cake and Carrot cake were amazingly delicious!! Large enough for 3 people to share each! We had time to talk, laugh and just sit and enjoy each other and our dining experience. If you want to be quickly served go across the street. Thank you Chop House we will return.

Great food and service. Best Chilean sea bass I have had and they cooked it as I requested, a little extra crispy. It came with orange beurre blanc which was a weird combo I thought but it WORKED.

Cons: Blue cheese stuffed olive was either from a jar or stuffed with cheese other than blue. Duroc pork was overcooked and very dry. The Creole pasta was dominated by tomato sauce and had tough, dry alligator pieces in it. The Brussels sprouts had a chemical taste, very unpleasant. The sea bass was just ok, not as fresh as it should have been. The $5 side of Bernaise came from a mix and was not good at all. When the Bernaise was untouched at the end of the meal, the waitress didn't notice, didn't ask if there was something wrong with it or offer to take it off the bill. Everything is a la carte except the 5 slices bread with butter that is provided. The bread is pre-cut which means the 3 slices of French and 2 of rye are a bit dry. Carrot cake was served very, very cold. Coffee was served in an insulated aluminum mug, which can affect the taste of the coffee.Pros: Dirty martini was made well. Crab cakes were flavorful and good sized. French onion soup had good flavor. Rib eye was nicely marbled and perfectly cooked medium rare. Mushroom risotto side was very good and large enough for four. Carrot cake flavor was very good. Bartender and waitstaff attentive. The coffee was a dark brew and was very good. If you're charging the prices of a high end steak house, you need to step up your quality.
