Really good fudge! The staff were all really nice and they had enough help to get people in and out quickly!

This is a cute touristy fudge/candy shop with coffee bar. They have homemade fudge and candy, dipped apples, jelly bellys, coffee bar, really cute dog treats and packaged candy. We sampled some fudge and the m&m one was delicious but the smallest they cut is a 1/4 lb so we skipped buying it since everybody wanted something different. They do have a little basket by the register with smaller pieces but nothing in the basket interested us. We ended up buying a piece of candy called chocolate peanutbutter heaven or something like that. We were expecting it to have peanutbutter in it but did not taste any. It tasted more like a snickers. We also got the chocolate covered cookie dough. They were about the size of whoppers. I did not really like them which dissapointed me because i love cookie dough but the kids loved them.

Come here to satisfy your sweets cravings and maybe take some home to friends and families! 1/4 of a pound is $4.99 but you save a little bit if you buy them by the pound. I, however, did not. I purchased a quarter pound of the dark chocolate pecan fudge, some chocolate hazelnut gelato and a baked dog treat ($2.99). This place has treats for everyone in the family including the furry little loved ones. They have some baked treats and dog drinks (meat flavoured drinks) to surprise the furry ones with. I bought my Darla a pink ice cream cookie cone since I treated myself to some gelato and fudge. The gelato was good. They also have some coffee, macchiato and cold coffee drinks available. I was tempted to buy more but I didn't.Included in their many, tempting varieties were some chocolate milk covered malt balls, cookies dipped in chocolates, strawberries dipped in chocolate, some homemade peanut butter cups which were huge, jelly beans, and many other sweets!I definitely want to come back here before the vacation is over and maybe purchase more fudge. The store is somewhat tiny but there are so many yummy treats within, so if in the area, stop by and treat yourself!UPDATE- 8/11/2016I finally had the fudge and I think it's rich and creamy but not too sweet. I was worried at first due to what one reviewer had said but coming from someone who hates sweets and most types of desserts, their fudge is actually good. I can still taste a little bitterness from the dark chocolate and I feel like I can eat the entire quarter of a pound (which would be very unusual for me).

Fudge review only: Not as good as the Swiss place just down the road but a decent runner up. They have more flavors but the quality just isn't as good; the flavors aren't as strong; the fudge isn't as creamy. I tried the cake batter which basically was just extra sweet vanilla and the malted milk ball which had a hint of malt but less than a malted milkshake for example. Still a decent stop. Lots of candies inside too.

Right next to Monk's on the strip this is the place that smells good all summer. Watch a fudge or brittle making demo. Eat scraps as samples. BUY FUDGE!!They make all sorts of brittles and have loads of classic candies (don't miss the apothecary jars of striped sticks) including bins upon bins of salt water taffy but their fudge is the best in the Dells hands down. And they sell by the quarter pound. Lots of shops in the area won't go smaller than a half. Or at least that is the way it was between '85 and '07. Haven't been recently but I doubt its changed.Tons of flavors come foil wrapped in boxes with teeny tiny plastic knives. Classics like penuche nut, maple and dark chocolate done right. Interesting marbles like creme de mint and ammareto. My brothers were crazy for New York Cherry and I can not pass by the Rocky Road. This place is a super cute all white-washed rough barn board interior with great customer service. Yep, in the Dells. This was one of the only places I can recall on Broadway that had returning help from year to year.

Now that I've finished my piece of Milk Chocolate English Toffee... MAN! That was good! The fudge is equally delicious and right now on my counter I have quarter-pound samples of four different kinds, including pistachio and dark chocolate nut. The working out I have to do to burn off the carbs will be worth it!Our visit to the shop had samples of pistachio fudge and fresh peanut brittle by the door and overlooking the candy-making area (there were also bigger sample sizes available for purchase near the register). I believe the day we were there they had over 31 flavors of fudge so it's not easy to pick out what you want, but you'll definitely find something. Then of course, there are the brittles, the bulk salt water taffy and the hand-dipped chocolates not to mention all of the pre-packaged candies that they sell like candy buttons, etc.I believe that it's in the Rule Book that when in the Dells you need to stop for fudge, and this is a great place to stop!

It's the Dells. There are many fudge shops that all proclaim they are the "original". Is this place the original? I have no clue but I do know that I am a creature of habit and always stop in if I find myself in the Dells (surrounded by day glow shirts and horrific tattoos). The fudge is always delicious and enough different flavors to keep me coming back. Word of advice...a small amount of fudge goes a long way so order less than you think and save yourself the ensuing regret that comes with ingesting a daily amount of calories in one sitting.

Why do I love this place? Because even though I live 250 miles away they treat me like I am a regular customer. I signed up for their mailing list about 5 years ago and every year they send me a catalog. Ok a catalog I am sure you are thinking Big Deal. Most times about 10-30 days after I recieve the catalog they called me to see if there was anything I might want to order! Of course I had to order something! This really impressed me. Oh did I mention that their fudge is out of this world! I think that this may be the best in the Dells! I dare you to prove me wrong

No samples of fudge? Are you kidding me??The strict "no sample" policy really turned me off from buying more fudge. I did purchase the smallest size of their cake batter confetti fudge, how could you go wrong with fudge that tastes like cake? It was good but wasn't the best I've ever had. I think I got a little spoiled by the deliciousness that is Mackinac Island fudge. There were some other treats for sale as well. I picked up some yummy marshmallow caramels which kinda made up for the "no sample" policy.Seriously, I can't get over that!
