Wilma's Smokehouse

My first trip to this truck will definitely not be my last. The BBQ pork and the brisket were phenomenal and I highly recommend it! The onion string on the sandwiches took it to the next level!The people who run the truck are good people. They donated a portion of their sales to a neighbor who puts on an outstanding Halloween display.

I was able to visit the this food truck about 3 weeks ago located @ Woodmans in Menomonee Falls on Friday's. They're service is quick, friendly, prices are great & nice portions. I had the meal combo w/ 2 sides: Pulled pork, collard greens, Mac & cheese (need more seasoning), & corn bread & my other was loaded jerk chicken fries (my only suggestion would be to not cook the fries too hard) but in all it's delicious & would recommend to try thek

I'm a BBQ junkie so I'm always looking for the next place and today was Wilmas Smokehouse. You can generally find them in the Woodmans Menominee Falls parking lot Mon-Sat the guy said unless they have an event planned, I wonder if he will close down when it freezes like some trucks do and I didn't think to ask him.The menu is very diverse for a BBQ truck with burgers, Nachos, soup, jerk chicken and BBQ meats. I'm going to get the brisket plate that comes with two sides and a corn muffin. When I was handed the bag it was noticeably weighty compared to other BBQ food trucks. When I opened the container the thing was packed and stacked with the brisket itself being the biggest portion that I have ever been served, WOW this is killer bang for the for the TRUCK, ha ha. I don't know if all plates are served this generous, wait my boss just got back and agreed that the brisket portion was the biggest he has been served also so two of us agree on that.The brisket is covered in a splash of BBQ sauce which I liked and I wanted more but it didn't come with any extra, get an extra sauce. The greens looked great, fresh with chunks of pork and good. The pile of onion strings were crispy/lightly battered and seasoned which were tasty, dam I really liked them. The brisket was not super lean with some fat left on that was very tender and juicy with a nice smoke flavor. It's not the money shot perfect slices but sliced and thrown together and kept moist in the juices/drippings. The corn bread muffin was super fresh with a sweet taste and not the dry saw dust kind that you choke on.Overall I really liked the freshness and quality of the brisket plate which was better than some of the BBQ places I have tried over the years and I will definitely be back for lunch again, yah I'm a fan.

a week after we at Amato Hyundai moved into the new shop across the lot from Woodmas in the falls I tried the food and was A100 from the start. This Friday 03/17/2023 i was surprised to see many employees from John Amato Hyundai and every reaction to the food back at the shop was phenomenal. Thank you WSH for your food and hospitality! Looking forward to many more visits!

Visited Wilma's Smokehouse while at Woodman's Friday afternoon, 13 September. This is my fourth time time here over the last few years and it has been consistent. Today I ordered the brisket plate that comes with two sides. My choice was haystack onion strings and mac & cheese. I've ordered the mac and cheese previously but this time it seemed to be very underwhelming, but the onion strings were tasty. The brisket was tender, but I was hoping for that smoke ring, however the smokiness of the meat was not over powering and the sauce to accompany the brisket was good. It is nice change of pace to local restaurant offerings in the area. Hoping for one of these BBQ food trucks to open a brick and mortar shop in my area.

That the best barbecue I've had in the area, bar none. You need to eat here, especially on a Friday to get the burnt ends! My girlfriend got the bacon jam burger, also insane. Worth going out of your way without a doubt.

Best brisket I have had and great service! Everything I have had off the menu has been delicious. I had 2# of brisket the first week I found Wilma's melt in your mouth! Great homemade sauce!!Highly recommend them and can't wait to have some more tomorrow!

We had a large birthday event with more than 100 people. Matt was amazing and made sure everything arrived on time and was set up perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious and we received strong compliments from all of our guests, many guests asking for the name of the caterer! We strongly recommend Wilma's smokehouse to everyone interested in an authentic southern barbecue experience!!

This is only the second food truck i've ever eaten at. this was really good food and the service was great. Friendly people. I would definitely follow the truck and eat there again. The nachos were outstanding and the pork sandwich was delicious too.

OH MY GOODNESS! I've been meaning to try Wilma's forever, but their truck isn't always nearby. Finally tried them last week when they were parked at Hoyt Park. What a freaking pleasant surprise! We tried the pulled jerk chicken, the brisket and rib tips. The tips were huge and meaty, the brisket lean and tender and the chicken was a revelation! Chicken can tend to become dry, but not at Wilma's! All the meats were smokey, in a perfect way. The greens they serve as a side are fantastic too. I believe the other fabulous BBQ truck, POP'S, has some competition now. Never thought it possible. What a shame that both have such short seasons. I will find that Wilma's BBQ truck real soon, before they take their cold weather break! PLEASE, find a way to check them out!
