Great selection of beers and sours, wine, food and ice cream!A great spot to get outside and enjoy some drinks and nice weather. Tons of picnic tables outside and even some under cover. And lots of open areas for kids (or adults) to play.Be sure to grab a pint glad and bring it back for reduced price refills.

Milwaukee County Parks made a big investment recently in the Whitnall Park Beer Garden, and it's better than ever. Parking! You got it. Walkway from the parking to the beer garden- check! Food 24/7, check! And Friday fish fry. Games and games, check! We had great fun with my niece shooting at the 6-hoop basketball game. There was a live musician one night I was there, and their local Wisconsin craft beer selection is on point! Bring your Parks glass for the refill price. Milwaukee County is blessed to have such a great parks system, the Traveling Beer Gardens, and top notch beer gardens like Whitnall Park Beer Garden!

Beautiful park for a beer garden with lots of seating and space for everyone! We have stopped by a couple times by ourselves, and with groups of friends, everyone seems to enjoy it. There is plenty to drink with a variety of options, and various food options as well. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. There is a open area and playground for the children to play and overall a great time on any day!

This is one of my favorite beer gardens in the area. It is super spacious with plenty of trees for cover if you want it and some tables in the sun, too. They have 24 taps and plenty of cans available.The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable and they have actual bathrooms.There is also a food truck with some tasty snacks to pair with your beer. Going back soon!!

Great atmosphere, beer, and food. Customers were served quickly and everyone was nice! The fish fry was well done. Pretty green space with lots of tables. Will definitely return!

Great place to enjoy nature, a good beer and tasty cheeseburger or pretzel. I've been here several times and have enjoyed myself each and every time. I've gone here on a date, I've taken my kids here for a snack. I've had always had good food and great customer service. The last time we were there a we saw we saw a few deer grazing in the distance. They have all kids play area not too far away and plenty of picnic tables and every now and then some live music.

Absolutely love this place!We've been coming here for a while now and I never thought to leave a review so what better time than now.A lot of times we walk through the Wehr Nature Center first and then stop here for a beer or four. Whitnall Park is beautiful and walking through the trails is so peaceful and fun. A ton of great picture opportunities. This summer they added a few poles to have lights strung about, great addition, and makes it look awesome. All the people that come to this beer garden always seem very friendly, there's never been any issues when I've been here or that I've heard about. They have a great selection of beers, I think more than any of the other beer gardens, but don't quote me on that. The bands are very good, even the polka ones because it's nothing that would offend anyone and it's nice to have some background noise. The only thing I see that needs improvement would be people that bring their dogs, and yes there are a lot of you. Please bring a bag to clean up after them. There are kids running around and it's just plan disrespectful. I would highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend. Especially if you want to have a tap beer with a friend during the covid pandemic but need the safety of a large open space. The area is huge and all the picnic tables are around 10 feet apart. Very easy to go get your beer and not feel caught in a crowd. Solid list of at least 15+ beers and ciders. They also have some basic food options and ice cream from Chocolate Shoppe (Madison). If you want to bring your kids they have a playground.Until this pandemic is behind us I personally refuse to go into any bars or restaurants and most outdoor seating areas still feel too crowded. I never felt uncomfortable here at all. The one downside, the bathroom situation isn't great and in the porta potty they didn't have any hand sanitizer. I recommend bringing your own.

What can I say about this wonderful addition to the Milwaukee Park/beverage scene?As I looked around at the hundred or so people calmly enjoying their beverages and snacks all around me, I thought, "THIS is what the bureaucrats were so afraid of all these years?" I mean, there were families with babies and toddlers enjoying the day. People of all ages deep in conversations. Toes tapping to the music. People walking their dogs around and playing with them. A couple of folks even broke into a little jig as they passed the band.THIS? This socializing? This camaraderie? I'm glad someone from the powers-that-be wised up. It's been far too long for us not to have this tradition back. We Milwaukeeans (Wisconsinites) know how to behave like adults! Obnoxious music playing if you're gonna have music, let it be a live band! The boy serving beer was swearing that word at his phone, watching the football game. There was two little kids in line behind us super inappropriate.
