Driving through town, as it seemed everyone else might've been, too. Just park in the street, easy in and easy out.Great beer selection, especially the variety packs. Lots of everything.Cheese, meats, beers are the forte here, but they have a bunch of other items and Packers gear here.

So good! Stopped for some cheese curds - a recommendation from our bartender at the Fox River Brewery. And the whole milk chocolate milk - which is amazing!! Like drinking melted ice cream!! Also picked up some greasy cottage cheese which was also delicious! Nice beer & meat selection as well but we didn't have enough room in our small van refrigerator & freezer to get any more on this trip. But when we pass through again we'll be sure to stop!

Wawaweewa!Sorry, Weyauwega! Anyway, what you do is drive off US Highway 10 and stop at Star Dairy and get some cheese. It's that simple! ;-) However, it's not some bougie touristy place. Instead, the vibe resonates like that of a small town grocery store that happens to sell their own awesome cheeses, enough so that I still second guess if I'm in the right place, with all the beer around. And then I'm like, "relax, it's beer and cheese, you're definitely in the right place, in more ways than one, guy!" And then I'm like, "Guy? That's not my name!" And then I'm like, "Why am I arguing out loud with myself in the middle of a cheese shop??" And then there's no way in heck that I can transition from the awkwardness, darn, and I gotta leave now, once again. My favorites are their string cheeses and the aged cheddars. The cheddars come in many years of age and are priced quite reasonably. I would personally not go above 5 years as hard limit and maybe 3-year as a soft limit, but then again, the state of Wisconsin kicked me out for not being Wisconsiny enough, so take that recommendation under advisement, and maybe you need to go for the 7-year or 10-year. Fresh curds are really good, too, if you're lucky enough, but usually we're coming through late and they're gone, boo hoo. The Asiago is also priced well and delicious. I get the sense that they know what they're doing here!Anyway, it's one of our favorites. Grow old, get out of the road, and stop in!

Not a destination in itself but da cheese is good. From Oshkosh take US 45 to da 10 past Winneconne and on to Weyauwega. If you get to Waupaca you went too far. (Try Weasels bar downtown)I go for the aged smoked cheddar brick and at $4.19/lb. it's a good deal.Get some curds to deep fry too a real Wisconsin treat. The lake is pretty and there's an "honor system" fruit and vegetable stand by the tracks. The large gourds are outstanding. Have a burger on the way back at Mr. Cinders in Oshkosh.

If youre driving through and want real wisconsin cheese and beer, this place has some great stuff. Sure, the prices are lower at Woodmans and they have more stuff, but this place is a hoot and I like to support this dairy.

Best cheese in Wisconsin! Stop in for their soft serve ice cream made fresh at the factory. Grab a bag of freshly made curds on your way to the counter. Chef Jyll has awesome recipes on her Channel 5 cooking segments using Weyauwega Star Dairy.

Great fresh curds and "real" string cheese (not individually wrapped or pressed into a brick.) The prices were quite reasonable, some slightly above what you'd find on sale at a supermarket and some a little less. Lots of flavored cheese, blue cheese, and specialty items along with a selection of cheesy Wisconsin-related gifts. The curds were especially good. Their curds are available same-day fresh at other places but they always seem to taste best when the distance from vat to tongue is measured in feet rather than miles. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a trip to this old fashioned style cheese factory store. There are a lot less of these than there were 30 to 50 years ago, so enjoy 'em while they are still around!

Love their cheese! I drive 30 minutes to buy their cheese instead of going to the local grocery store. The prices are awesome and you know their cheese is always fresh.
