These cheese curds with delicious! As well as the Reuben and the homemade chips!!!I bought (too much) cheese from this shop. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind!!! Literally ALL of them. One woman helped me with cheeses, the guy who I checked out with, and then I went to order a spotted cow and a sandwich. I didn't get her name, but the girl who helped me was AMAZING. (She just moved back from Denver and was so kind and helpful). Hopefully the owner sees this and can recognize how wonderful their employees are!

I want to like this place,I really do. Big selection of meats and cheese, good food.2 out of the last 3 times we went there to get meat and cheese for home, they either couldn't or wouldn't slice it. One time they had a kitchen employee was slicing meat for the kitchen. They talked to him and told us it would be about 15-20 minutes and we chose to wait only for them to tell us it would be an additional 40 minutes. Everything we had already picked out was left on the counter and we left. The other time, weeks later,we tried the same thing but this time she told us that the slicer was just cleaned and sanitized and we could get anything for at least 20 minutes, both slicers were empty and sitting idle. They are losing money, and I'm confident that it's not just us.

We recently visited the Public Market and stopped here for a quick bite and drink. We all tried the frozen moscow mules - which definitely were strong, but delicious and refreshing on a hot weekend day. Another friend ordered the summer sausage and was definitely expecting it to be in sausage form on a bun - but it came sliced on a sandwich. She said it was delicious, just not what she was anticipating. We also tried the cheese curds - which were good. Some of them had no cheese in them, as the batter wasn't properly coated while cooking. They were also a bit greasier than other ones we tried. But, at the end of the day, they were delicious.

I had the most insane bloody mary from here and it was so fun to walk around the market with it in my hand. So many people asked where I got it. It was delicious and had so many fun treats as toppings.

I recently visited West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe for a quick, on-the-go lunch and opted for their Tuesday special, the Buffalo Chicken Wrap priced at $12.99. The meal included a pickle and house-made chips. Since it being a later lunchtime, I received my order within 10 minutes.Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, I decided to enjoy my meal outdoors. I received a few compliments from people passing by, asking what I was eating for lunch. The chicken was generously coated in sauce but not overly saucy. The decision to save some chips for the next day proved to be a good as they stayed fresh. While I usually visit West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe for their cheese selection, this visit has piqued my interest in exploring more of their sandwich offerings. Overall, a quick and pleasant lunch experience.

I stopped by Weat Allis for lunch while exploring the Milwaukee public market! They had a super wide array of sandwiches and cheese to choose from (and me being indecisive decided to just build my own). I added all the standard toppings - lettuce / tomato / turkey / pepper jack / mustard / jalepenos and it was delicious!! It was a perfectly grilled panini for a cold winter day and I loved the homemade chips. The line was pretty long for a Saturday but the food came out really quickly nevertheless. I would recommend this place if you stop by the market:)

Cute little place. Your order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I got a sandwich and it was giant. We also shared a mimosa flight. The sandwich was huge and messy, but so good. Wish I could remember the name but it had 3 different meats, cucumbers and goat cheese in it. Attached to the restaurant is a meat and cheese shop with so many yummy items!

Wow amazing selection, prices, and warm foods or take for snacks at honey. They didn't have samples, but quality the few things we bought to try. We were tourists from Seattle where we have pike place market and use to samples and explanations of products. We didn't get that service but the foods were quality. Hope they improve customer care.
