Can I be real right now? I hate waffles. I'm not a fan of food trucks. I hate paying $8 at a food truck I don't know. I was quite cranky when I stopped here. I honestly thought I was going to hate it, but sweet baby Jesus this was delicious. After a painful half hour of trying to figure out what to eat, I was on a quest to find a Cubano place I randomly came across on UberEats. I had a hunch they were closed and didn't want the to go through the hassle of a refund. On my way home I drove by this food cart by The Crystal Corner Bar. I had been craving a good chicken and waffles dish for a few months so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a shot and did a quick U turn.Turns out they didn't have chicken and waffles tonight. I almost left right then and there, but my boyfriend really wanted to try the brat waffle. He promised we could grab something else if it was awful. So I gave it a go with the Crunchy Hugger. My boyfriend talked up the person running it while I snapped a few quick photos. The guy was incredibly nice. He explained they don't have chicken and waffles all the time because they make their gravy by letting it slow cooking it over course of a day. Sounds impressive. We will be heading back there this Saturday night to check it out. When we got the food I was actually pretty impressed with the size and presentation. Still being rather cranky and half asleep I wanted to head back to the car to eat though the guy said we could take it in the bar and grab a drink. After the first few bites both my boyfriend and I were in love. The berries were incredibly fresh, the granola was solid, and the waffle was heavenly. My boyfriend's was just as good. The brat itself was on point. Cooked perfectly and the seasoning was phenomenal. It went surprisingly well with the waffle. I can't say brats and waffles is as good as chicken and waffles, but it's a great runner up.If I were in a better mood, or better yet drunk, I would be ranting and raving up and down the street. Seriously, this would be an amazing stop in the way home from drinking.Congratulations WeGo Waffles. You managed to impress me beyond words with food I don't even like.

Hallelujah!I have a new favorite! I am sitting here tell all of you, so I dont fight my kids for the last bites. I just experienced the glory of a Chicken an Dreams Waffle, with chicken fried chicken, mapley turkey sausage country gravy, cheese, lump sugar, and jalepenos. It is served with slaw to cut the richness. This guy is a genuis! I'd share pictures, but we inhaled it.

So amazingly tasty. Indulgent? Yes. One of the most surprisingly delicious things I've ever tasted? Also yes, and worth the calories. I got the fried chicken and gravy waffle, blew my mind, but there is still much more for me to come back and try.

We had the waffles down in Lake Mills. I would say they were pretty good but the plates they were served on and the forks we were given to use were ridiculous. The sauces went right through the plates, quite a mess and the fried chicken and waffles were a bit tough so the tiny cardboard forks that tasted like popsicle sticks literally, didn't cut it. The slaw thing on the side had very little flavor. The idea of the waffles is unique but they need to make a few changes and it might be great.
