virtually no produce at all. maybe its a bad year for produce. just vendors selling overpriced street food. 5 years ago it was good. waste of precious time now.

I've been going to the Waukesha Farmer's market for years now, and I always have a nice time. But most importantly...BRING CASH! Only a handful of vendors accept credit cards or Apple Pay. It's probably a good idea to bring at least $20.00 if you plan on stocking up on produce. The produce is always so fresh and flavorful. I'd highly recommend getting some sugar snap peas when the summer season rolls around. They are so sweet and crunchy. I've also bought many other things like cheese curds, honey, maple syrup, flowers, and baked goods. Everything is such great quality. Parking can be difficult to find, so I'd recommend going to the farmer's market right when it opens. You'll also get better pick of the produce if you head there right at 8:00 a.m. The farmers market was located along the river years ago and I wish they still held it there. The parking lot that it is currently held in can get a little cramped. You're also ushered clockwise around the loop, so you can't really go back to a booth without making another whole lap.

Wonderful veggies, mushroom and flower selection. They also have some great food and coffee!! (Why other markets don't have coffee is beyond me. ). There's also music that makes me smile.

This is a big market. Usually that means a ton of vendors selling exactly the same thing... Not here in Waukesha. From fresh fruits and veggies, to hot-and-ready breakfast sandwiches, gourmet hotdogs, stuffed chicken wings, tamales, and countless others, to prepared soups, cheeses, baked goods, etc., to craft goods like jewelry, home goods, and more, to... The list goes on. Plus, add live music!Parking shouldn't be an issue. If the connected lot is full, there is a public parking lot directly across the river, as well another two parking lots, both kitty corner from the market, totaling over 200 parking lot spaces all within a one block walk from the market. My market favorites include the gourmet yet low priced hot dogs from Twisted Bistro, the cheese spreads from Glas All Naturals, Greek pastries from Aleka's Kitchen, squeaky cheese curds from Arthur Bay Cheese Company, bread from Mia Famiglia, knife/blade sharpening from Sharp Brothers, as well as the plethora of fresh Brussels spouts, mushrooms, ground cherries, and more.My wife's favorites include pastries from Great Harvest Bread Co., fresh cut flower bouquets, local honey, and the Hangover Dog from Twisted Bistro. There's something for everyone here, at great prices, and all supporting the local economy.

This farmers market leaves nothing to chance. From the variety of fresh quality bakeries to the heavenly scented handmade soaps and the wood fire pizza's, this is a must stop on my summer farmers market visits. The only thing I miss is the Freshly grilled meats and frozen meats at other markets. They also heard you like cattle walking clockwise, which I like to go the opposite away from the crowd and then they make you feel like you're in the way but oh well, it's not a street.

With one week to spare I finally got over to the farmers market this year with working plenty of Saturdays or being out of town or other plans keeping me away.Parking was noticeably horrible but I lucked out and got a spot, getting out was bad because of all the cars blocking you waiting for a spot to open. This Farmers market was full of the usual variety comparable to the Greenfield version with one difference, the most options/variety of ready to eat foods with burgers, sausages, egg rolls, stuffed wings, wood fire pizza, dog treats, meat sticks, tamales, tacos, Asian food, grilled meat on sticks, brownies/baked goods etc etc. As usual the vegetables were overflowing with next to no fruit, I saw apples only on my visit. My shopping spree was super restrained this time when I realized I had about $12 in my wallet so I got a few of the really important items like the stuffed chicken wing, pork tamale, chicken tamale and a monster brownie. The tamales were the best street tamales I have had, soft and moist. So far this is now my favorite Milwaukee area Farmers Market and I can't make the last one next week so see you next year.

The farmer's market had plenty of quality produce. I wished they had greater dining (lunch) options, though. By 11:00 am, everything was mostly sold out.Expect to use a porta-potty for a bathroom. Parking was hard to find; we had to walk quite a ways to get here from our parking spot.My favorite booth was the gourmet dog treats!

I feel like not enough people know about how awesome this farmers market is! I live in downtown Waukesha and have been thrilled to see if grow over the past few years. They are constantly adding new vendors and (despite a slight relocation) and bringing fresh produce to the masses. Fair and competitive prices via the produce vendors and a couple eclectic clothing/jewerly/bag vendors to keep things interesting. The Twisted Bistro for his off-the-wall hot dogs as well as Dan-O's Donuts both provide good snackage while walking around checking everything out at the market. I'm also always impressed by the beautiful flower bouquets available. One of my favorite things to do is get smoke Salmon (the fish and not the spread, as they will also make sure you clarify) at Rushing Waters Fisheries tent. (They even have cute fish pet treats.) Kid friendly, dog friendly and usually always with live entertainment/music (and the occasional people watching.)Get your butt up and out on a Saturday and stop by the Waukesha Farmer's Market - it's sure to impress.

There isn't enough good things to say about this spot. It is just fun! Where else can you get home made brauts cooked up on the spot, your grocery for the week, a foot massage and shop for insurance. One stop shop. LOLThe have local tallent entertaining you while you shop. The group's at the front are okay. However, one the back side there is a disabled vet that is in a wheelchair who plays & sings. He has youth insturments to encourage the children attending the market to join him. The children love it & there is a gleam in his eye when he interacts with them, it brings him not and it shows!Wish there was a way to have this year round! I realise that it isnt possible due to the winters here, but a woman can dream.
