Very inexpensive comparatively. You can still eat on the cheap in this establishment. An old Chicago style establishment, just a couple of tables, and cooks slinging The spatulas. This place Harkins back to another time, it absolutely brings back memories.

Went there specifically for a gyro plate. The gyro meat was shredded/shaved instead of sliced in long lean slices like it's supposed to be. The portion was pretty large but was put on top of the pita with no parchment paper underneath the soak up the excess moisture.

Absolutely love Waukegan Gyros, I live in Milwaukee and come to Waukegan to visit my boyfriend we always end up going to Waukegan Gyros. The prices are great, and the food is fast. I've gotten the cheeseburgers, which are really good but I do prefer the Cheese steak. I've heard that the tacos are good, and so are the hot dogs. I have no complaints for this place, other than it's so far from my house lol. Thank you for the good food Waukegan.
