Water Street Brewery Lake Country

Great food, I had the bbq bacon burger with a side of their Mac n cheese and it was very delicious, wish the Mac n cheese was a bit cheesier though, I thought they went a bit too light on that. Service is pretty good too, I had a very kind waitress, though there were still things left to be desired. I enjoyed the Ambiance since the smell of food as I walked in was great and the atmosphere and decoration was very pleasant. I'd come here again :)

This place probably has the best cheese curds ever. They are so soft and fluffy. I'd make a meal out of just the curds if it was socially acceptable.The beer flight was good. Tasted like beer.The sausage platter was interesting. The sausage tastes best when dipped in the side of mustard. Not sure what the curd/noodley looking thing was. It was ok. Kinda plain. The cabbage sides were fine. Overall I'd go back again just for the cheese curds

I will start by saying our server was amazing!!! She was attentive and very friendly. The manager, not so much. We ordered an appetizer. The cheese curds came out quickly and were hot and delish! Good beer flavor in the tempura. The sauces complimented them well. Our meals came out without delay. I ordered the bacon and blue burger (name may not be exact). The first bite was like sticking my tongue in between two blocks of salt. It was inedible. Like any normal patron would do, I asked for the manager. Big Sam came , strutting over with attitude. I plainly said the food was way too salty to be edible. He responds with "well every item on that burger is packed with sodium sir". EXCUSE ME???? Is this how you speak to people? I explained to him it was too salty either way and it was unacceptable. Then he blabbered something about blood pressure. After a few more, words good 'ol Sam said "can I offer you anything else." I said sure. I asked for some chicken wrap. But could we get it to go. He responds with "yea I suppose". When it got to the table it had no fries and I paid full price for the item. Last time I will come to this location. Too bad because I love WSB. I will be calling in the morning to speak with the store manager because managers should treat people with a little more respect. Not even an apology from the manager one time. He acted as if it was my fault the burger was horrible. (Our server was amazing and said sorry 100 times)Good luck.

I rarely have something negative to say about dining out, but we were so disappointed in our fish fry and cheese curds. Everything was super greasy. The breading on the perch was extremely salty. Potato pancakes were greasy too and lacked flavor. Beer was good, but that's it.

We stopped on a week night, and the place wasn't exactly hopping. We sat at the bar and was waited on by a very pleasant bartender who promptly gave us menus. We ordered a couple salads and a Buffalo cauliflower appetizer. Cauliflower appetizer was large. Food was okay, nothing outstanding. We also had a good pale ale from their extensive beer list.

Beer was good. Went with a group of 4 people only 1 left satisfied with the taste of their food. Cheese curds and hot chicken sandwich were ok. The rest of our food very below average. Service was good. Will not be back for food.

If you're hungry and already in the area, Water Street is a good choice. It is your standard pub, but the beers are very good. I would suggest the downtown Milwaukee location for the atmosphere, but for a good, quick dinner, this location is a plus. The burgers are reliable though always missing a flavor (make sure you have ketchup), and the fries are tasty. We did try the shirt ribs panini and were very impressed with the beef. The restaurant is clean, and there is plenty of seating. The bar area also has a few tvs and projectors so you won't miss a game while at dinner. Overall this is a reliable and nice restaurant.

Went there for a fish fry Friday night.The service was great!Prompt, friendly and personable.The fish was over cooked had little taste, we had Cod and perch, it was the same for bothThe cheese curds were very good.The price of the perch was ridiculous! $21.The bill for 1 cod 1 perch dinners, 1 burger with a cheese curd app.1 glass of house wine and two soft drinks plus a 20% top was $103.Sorry but that was too much for my wallet, it wasn't worth it.

The service and food were phenomenal. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding and the staff was so kind and helpful! They have a small area in the back that is absolutely perfect for small events and it worked soo well! We will 100% be back here!

Made the trip from Menomonee Falls to the Delafield location on Thursday, 8/15, to have a sandwich which I remember fondly from the many times I had it at the downtown restaurant - the chicken salad sandwich (now a Thursday special only). I was EXTREMELY disappointed. My first complaint - the bacon that came with it was badly burnt. When I asked for some that WASN'T burned, the result was no better. Secondly, I expected tomato and cheese on the sandwich, specified in the menu, but by the time I had complained about the bacon and received unsatisfactory results, I decided to eat the sandwich as is. For a cocktail, I ordered a brandy Old Fashioned. Another disappointment. I had a difficult time tasting the brandy. If I ever return to this restaurant's location, I certainly will carefully choose something else to order.
