Water Street Brewery Grafton

Came here on a Friday around 5:30pm and hot dang was it already so busy. We hadn't been in over a year, but enjoyed our previous visits so looked forward to the return. The wait was shockingly only 10 minutes. With the waiting area packed, they did a great job of keeping things moving and getting folks seated really timely. We were put in the back room, which I'd never seen before, but there's plenty of big tables and open-space. Highchairs, booster seats, and kids menus are always appreciated. We ordered the kiddos milk right away, along with a burger & mac. Certainly still large portions, despite being off the kids menu. I ordered the roasted beet & arugula salad with steak, and really enjoyed it! The whipped goat cheese was delish, and I also loved the sweet potato straws. Can't go wrong with house balsamic vinaigrette & balsamic reduction either. My husband got the fish fry and was bummed out with it, saying it was pretty dry and couldn't finish it. Of course the mound of tasty fries were all finished up. Water Street Brewery has such a stacked menu, with enough options to certainly keep us coming back to try something different each time.

We like to stop here on our way up to the lake house! Great cheese curds that come with really good ranch and chipotle ranch. This time we split the Blackened Salmon BLTA and Short Rib Grilled Cheese- both delicious. Their fries are good too. I'm sure the beers rotate but this time they had a really good peach sour one. It had a cute name like Depeach Mode. Very friendly and efficient service! Definitely give this place a try if you live in the area or are passing through like us. It's right off the highway.

I left the last star off because while this was a really good meal, it did not show me anything spectacular, but just really good. And the service was just fine except we got our requested water after we finished eating.After beach combing at Lion's Den Gorge we stopped for lunch at about 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. We were surprised at how busy it was which tells us the food must be good. This is correct and all four of us enjoyed our meals. We had never tried the Scotch Egg so gave it a try. Interesting taste but not anything we felt we needed to spend the $ on next time. But the burgers, grilled cheese and Short Rib Panini were all great choices. And the fries are great! The servings are generous and even gave us some leftovers for snacking at home later. And be sure to try the house-brewed root beer- really great tasting!Over all we were satisfied and will consider returning when we are in the area again. Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible.I took pictures as we started being served and then forgot because when the food came I was too hungry to think of anything but eating! But the dishes were a nice presentation.

I'm not a drinker, but the food was pretty good. I would call it upscale bar food. Better than just boring old burgers. Noise level wasn't too bad. Good place to bring a family or group.

The food was good every time- beer selection is nice. Although I will most likely go back the staff we have had questionable experiences.Last time we were here we had no plates for our appetizers, long wait before waitress came to table on a Thursday afternoon, and conflicting information on specials resulting in an up charge after we asked for clarification ahead of time. This time we just stopped for an appetizer and drinks, we ordered our appetizer that we were going to eat at the bar. We never received the ketchup we asked for and the bartenders didn't say a single word except set the bill in front of us when we still had intentions on ordering, mind you they did this to no one else- oh well that changed our minds.

Nice place for a Valentine's date! We ordered an appetizer (chicken tenders), a pizza and a skillet cookie. It was pretty much the perfect amount of food. We asked if we could have it all at once, and they were able to do that! We ranked our favorites as we went- the chicken tenders were the most impressive! They also are always playing great music. Too crowded, the exceedingly young staff tends to get overwhelmed.Beyond those issues, the reservation system isn't up to snuff. If it wasn't so close I wouldn't go anymore.

The food is always perfect! The staff are the sweetest! The overall service is impeccable! The vibes are so comforting yet special!

The food and service were great, and I'm really glad I used this app to check in early because by the time I arrived, the line was out the door.
