A Juneau staple! Always great food, plentiful coffee and great service! They've made some updates/upgrades since I was last here a year ago. They now have a Starbucks flavored coffee machine and some bright new plates as well.

Our first stop in the boonies of Wisconsin was straight out of a movie. This is a very typical, family run, diner type restaurant with lots of locals. Breakfast being served all day, vast menu of every comfort food you can imagine, and friendly staff.I ordered the crispy chicken salad and wasn't too impressed. The chicken strips were super skinny, and the veggies weren't very fresh. The plates were huge though. Not your average lunch spot but probably an average stop in middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Got the good ole country experience here.

I work in the City of Juneau and frequent the Village Garden regularly. Very good service and food. I usually go with either breakfast or a burger. If I am going with a burger, I usually get the Philly Burger. The only complaint I might have is some of their prices are a little high, but part of what you pay for is good service and home made food.

Nice little diner with typical menu options. Staff is always smiling and friendly. Have tried their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options and all have been good. Breakfast skillet and omelet were probably my favorite. Prices are very reasonable I don't think I've ever experienced any long waits for food or service.

Stopped by for breakfast; looking for a good omelet. It was a great experience. I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and warm, heartfelt "Good morning". I ordered up the meat lovers omelet with fried onions added in. It was delicious and great presentation. In addition, I had hash browns and pancakes. Both were great and plentiful. 2 thumbs up for this little diner. Oh, the waitress (Michelle) was very attentive and super friendly, both characteristics I desire. Thanks!

Came on a Friday for lunch as I was traveling through, saw home cooking and thought this would be a good stop for lunch. I asked the waitress what she would recommend and did not say much. The new lunch menu was placed by the entrance as I sat down so I order the fish. When came to me it was cold. They took it back and put it in the microwave. Nothing on my plate was home made but rather fresh from the microwave.Sheer disappointment as they should take down their home cooking sign as it is not representative of what they provide.

I have driven by the Village Garden many times over the years, and finally decided to stop in with some colleagues for a late breakfast. I had the "Gypsy" breakfast and it was both delicious and filling. Hash browns with bacon, onions, peppers, cheddar cheese -- all in one big "mess," with the eggs on top. It was all fresh and hot, and the over-easy eggs were done perfectly. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Portions were very substantial, and it was all served piping hot. I can't believe that I drove past the Village Garden so many times over the years, but it could easily become a regular stop.

We have been here for breakfast and lunch numerous times. Each time, the food and service has been great!! As for the prices, they are a bit high. However, knowing that we will have a great dining experience keeps us coming back.
