I love Ventura's! The staff are always so friendly, the food comes out hot, fresh, and quick, and it's all delicious. It's also pretty reasonable, $25 dollars for the 2 taco lunch special and a chicken quesadilla. The restaurant is cute and cozy. I've never been to the food truck but I love their brick and mortar. Their carnitas and carne asada are both my favorite. Small parking lot on site but street parking isn't bad either.

On this visit to Ventura's we both ordered the Chiles Relleno plate. They were good, but not as good as what we ordered in the past. However, Ventura's is better than the other Mexican restaurants in Bay View and St Francis. They deserve your business. Family run and family owned, Ventura's is about the American dream. That's worth your support. The owner is pleased to see you walk in and wants to be assured of your happiness. With fresh and delicious food, Ventura's is the premier Mexican restaurant if you care about taste.

This is a nice authentic Mexican taco truck. I live down the street from this truck and have eaten here 20+ times. My personal favorites are the Mexican style steak and Al pastor tacos. However, the American style tacos are also good if you prefer the added cheese and sour cream. The enchilada burrito used to be my favorite but, the past few times I have gotten it, the burrito did not have enough enchilada sauce.

We love this local place. After reading some reviews and articles written on the place we decided to try the pollo con mole and it was amazing! We order it almost every time we go. The ceviche is fresh and delicious. All of the people we've interacted from the restaurant have been great as well. Love this spot!

We had a great time at Ventura's! We stopped in last minute after handing out candy for trick or treat and they even had a bowl of candy out for people.It's a smaller space, but a good amount of the tables were filled. Service was fast and very friendly! They did accidentally give me the wrong burrito, but they were very apologetic (it was not a big deal at all) and they had the right one to me within 3-5 minutes.I would definitely recommend stopping in!

The star ratings are tricky because I think we are conditioned to think we should filter out the 5 star and the 1 star reviews. It's either astroturfing or angry Karens. But I think for what they do it's a 5 to me. Things need to be in their proper context and in their specific category.The thing here is that I think every box was checked here. Good food. Warm and friendly service. Good vibes.I had the spicy pork tacos and the Pastor tacos and it was just what I needed. The spicy pork was just enough spice to liven me up but not overboard. Good balance. The Pastor tacos were what I have come to expect from a Mexican Restaurant. YummyI would recommend this to anyone looking for something new, or anyone in the area. Don't sleep on this

One of our go to spots for Mexican food in Milwaukee, especially in bay view! We've only ever ordered to go but the staff seem very nice. The food is so good and you get so much! We've gotten burritos most times, which are delicious. I've also tried the mole which is amazing as well. Definitely try it if you have the chance. Would love to enjoy their outdoor patio when it gets warm again!

The food in my carry out order was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the chili relleno and the chicken mole. next time, however, I will call instead of using the online order system. I think it is a bit wonky and actually slowed things down.
