My family enjoyed a great meal tonight! varsity bar and grill also was very kind to our school community! Highly Recommend!

I ordered the "Varsity Burger medium rare." It came so well done I had to try and slice it with a knife. Not good. Don't think I'll stop there for lunch again.

We came for a birthday party. Drinks were cheap, food prices seemed reasonable. Service was good. However the burger was over cooked and fries were tastless. Plenty of parking.

Fun for trivia and bar food! Service was good, but they were busy, especially during trivia night. She did her best and was grateful at the end of the night. The food was solid for bar food. Overall, I'd come back for a cheap drink, HH, or trivia.

Don't come here for the food. Service for our party was nice but the food tasted bad. Our water had dirt on the side of the pitcher, not to mention the place is just dirty. The vibe was nice though has everyone here was watching the football having a nice time.

Never had a bad experience here! It is my go to when needing to meet up with co-workers and have a working lunch. They have wifi! It is also family friendly. We brought our little league team during a tournament on a Saturday and they were so accommodating and friendly! The food is always good. The service, no matter how busy, is always great.

Somehow, Varsity has become one of my go-to places lately. After not going there for years for reasons I cannot express, we just started hitting it up a lot. I like the food. The service is solid. The menu isn't overwhelming in complexity, but it doesn't have to be. This place isn't the be-all, end-all, nor is it bad. The menu is fairly priced. The beers are cold. There's nothing pretentious about the place--and really, that's all I ask for a bar like Varsity.I really appreciate the fact they utilize their social media to make sure people know what the specials are for the week. That really helps me decide if I'm going to be heading there for anything. (I ALWAYS go when they have prime rib quesadillas--those are wonderful.) If nothing else, the fish fry always hits. The cheese curds are good. And there's always a sports channel on a TV within easy viewing distance. Keep it up, Varsity. You're the underrated workhorse of the Sun Prairie restaurant scene. You're not going to win the beauty awards like Full Mile, but you get the job done every time.
