UW provisions

I have shopped here THREE times and each is worse than the last. I have bought frozen food items, ground meat, seafood and brisket. And while the frozen soup is minimally acceptable everything else is trash. Their prices are minimally less than sale items at your local grocer and worse quality. Case in point. Their brisket Tri tips are more than 85% fat cap. I marinated two of these this weekend for 24 hours. Rinsed. Dry rubbed. Smoked low and slow. In this case 95% by weight measured pure fat. The 5% left was tougher than a shoe-under the same time, wood, temperature as your average lousy Costco cut that turns out fine. Tonight was so bad that for the first time in a decade I had to apologize to my family and encourage them to eat anything they could find in the house worthwhile to eat. Wow the meat here has so much flavor, the flavors I remember from fresh farm meat of 50 years ago! Plus the prices are so reasonable!
