Upper-Crust Pizzeria

My wife and I LOVE this place! The pizza at Upper Crust is amazing and stands far above several surrounding pizzerias. The crust, for one has a uniquely delicious taste and great texture, and the sauce, which can heavily impact my opinion on a pizza, exceeds expectations. Especially in our situation, which may be considered by some as grounds for tossing out this whole review. But we avoid eating cheese and often order pizzas with just sauce, and with the quality of ingredients that are used here, we still really enjoy our meals here. We have also had the pizza with cheese at Upper Crust, which we also highly recommend! We always get the Bavarian pretzel with honey mustard, which is a great appetizer to go along with your meal here. Another amazing feature about Upper Crust is that they serve Sprecher root beer and other soda flavors, which is by far the best root beer available. The customer service has always been great here with the owner occasionally walking around to check on how people are doing and enjoying their meals and experience. The decor is fun, resembling a log cabin, with a lot of vintage posters and signs to look at while you wait for your food. Make sure you bring cash though!

The mish-mash decor reminiscent of up-North Wisconsin dive bars filled with rusty, old car license plates and hokey fishing, hunting, sports, antiques, or dusty relics from dump-yard hubcaps to cut-rate rummage sale leftovers is both gross and painfully pathetic --as is the food quality-- that equates synonymous with the Sysco garbage ingredients. The dust is decades old. The bar sticky, the restrooms tainted... If redhot Chicago-style dogs or beef dips are offered, AVOID. Settle for cheapest cheese pizza and assured constipation. A BIG NO FOR THE PRICE AND SERVICE!!!

Upper crust has always been a go-to for me. Years ago it was called "Ronnie's" in lake geneva. The ambience is great and very nostalgic. Their pizza IS GREAT. Just go..so worth it.

It's a pretty good pizza joint. Worth the trek out from Lake Geneva. Cash only, but they have an ATM.Service was good. Appetizer + Pizza + Beer was very reasonable. Would visit again next time we're in the area.

If you're looking for an awesome pizza don't look any farther it's here !!!! Same goes for all of Ron's food it's exemplary. That's why he went from the Hot Dog King of Chicago to the Pizza Emperor of Wisconsin.

Most amazing pizza. I'm a Lou malnati lover but this pizza was equally as good. Different thin crust but truly fabulous. Cant wait to go back. Service was awesome too. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Even gave us some history on the owner. Cant wait to go back.

Service was ok. They were overly busy with pizza deliveries. Appeared to be a little understaffed but staff that was there kept up with things well. Pizza was very average. Not very tasty in my opinion. I've had much better pizza in many places.

$7 for this ? Doesn't even fill the bottom of the tray. Old cheese curds were better. What are these and what is this size portion. DO BETTER. Decided to give business but rather go to Culver's for them at this point.

There was a girl who worked here who had the longest, fakest eyelashes I had ever seen. She was as useful as a bucket of apples. She no longer works here. The entertainment factor of eating here is gone & that's sad.

We've been to Upper Crust many times over the years. Tonight, they saved the day. It's my 75th birthday and I had made reservations at Southern Stop in Genoa City. When we arrived, no one was there, completely dark, and no response to a phone call. We knew Upper Crust was close so we called and they were able to accommodate a party of 11 at short notice. We had a great time, and, as usual, the pizzas were fantastic. Thank you to Upper Crust for saving the day.
