The Wolf by Uncle Wolfie's is the perfect spot for a delicious dinner or a cozy date night in downtown Milwaukee. We appreciated the excellent service (thanks Jensen!), cozy but modern atmosphere, delicious drinks and great food. We tried:Chili Crisp Fish Sandwich with handcut fries - great flavor, definitely something I'd order again.Crying Tiger Steak - grilled flank steak, oyster sauce, fish sauce, shallot, cilantro mint, fried brussel sprouts - perfectly cooked, delicious. Would have loved some extra of the greens on the side.Cocktails: Milwaukee Proper - Dickel Sour Mash, Old Fashion Bitters, Orange Bitters, Maple-Cherry Syrup, San Pellegrino Aranciata RossaT-Bone N' Thugs - El Jimador Reposado, Planteray Pineapple Rum, Coconut-Washed Aperol, Grapefruit Agave, Lime, SalineThe Wolf also has some great local craft beers on tap!You can make a reservation on their website. We will definitely be back to check out their brunch as well.

The mushroom melt is to die for! So good! The Baja hash is also yummy, flavorful without making you feel too heavy. The aesthetic vibes and the friendly service are always awesome.

We are big fans of Uncle Wolfie's on Vine so wanted to try this second location out. Unfortunately the food and service was very underwhelming. Not only was the new Indonesian cuisine and tasting menu not explained despite it being a Saturday, the food was not very flavorful and cold, and we waited the whole time for cocktails and finished the food to receive 1/4 full rocks glasses. My partner's came with a straw in it "to know which is which."We're bummed this didn't live up to the same standards as the original location on Brewers Hill. But definitely go there if you want great brunch and ramen. This second location is a total miss. :/

Uncle Wolfie's downtown location has become one of my favorite places for brunch. They have a different menu from the original location with some overlap. I always like to sit at the bar and watch the crowd, and I've gotten in some fun conversations with the customers and staff.I've tried several items on the menu, which changes periodically, and they've all been great. There's always a seasonal omelet. The biscuit with sawmill gravy is excellent with the pickled peppers. On my last visit I tried the famous chili crisp fish sandwich. They recommend that you cut it in half to make it easier to eat. I was also impressed by the tavern potatoes. They're smashed and crispy and special enough to stand on their own.The staff is really friendly and remembers me when I come in. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway in Milwaukee and were eager to discover the city's culinary scene. We stumbled upon Uncle Wolfie's Dinner Diner and were absolutely blown away.We opted for the prix fixe menu, and each course was a masterpiece. The Asian-inspired flavors were expertly executed, and every dish was thoughtfully composed. The service was exceptional, particularly our gracious hostess, Berk, who was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had a memorable dining experience. The ambiance was perfect - intimate with low lighting, yet stylish with modern touches that subtly nodded to Asian culture. The price point was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.Uncle Wolfie's Dinner Diner is a must-visit for anyone seeking a truly special dining experience in Milwaukee. We will undoubtedly return the next time we're in town.

I've long been a massive fan of Uncle Wolfies so when I heard they had a dinner location as well I had to stop by.I've been twice now, once is photographed and included. We stopped in for brunch with a crowd before heading to Bradyfest and it lived up to the high standard that Uncle Wolfies brunch itself set.The second time was for dinner and was one of my favorite meals out this year. The food was incredible, the service was friendly and the specials were creative. I'd highly recommend this spot for a casual dinner date.

A huge fan of Uncle Wolfie's so I had to try the new location and it did not disappoint. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, it's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and talk to others. The service was great and welcoming as per usual. When there's an opportunity to have a Ube dish I take it. The Ube Peanut Butter & Jelly Waffle was amazing. I thought it would be very sweet but it wasn't and the paring of the peanuts worked well. It was delicious and I recommend it.

Not sure if this is the right place to give a review of Night Wolf, but it's another great concept and experience from the Uncle Wolfie's crew! Wednesday through Sunday they are open from 5-9pm for ramen and it's the perfect thing on a cold winter night. I got the garlic ramen and it was excellent. We also shared some pork dumplings. Their cocktails and mocktails are excellent to. I got the Shirley Temple of Doom. Service was great and friendly and they had an excellent playlist of chill hip hop and rap, which perfectly fit the vibe.

Nice people and good service. Uncle Wolfies is a hipster friendly restaurant and bar. PBR and Hamms by the can. Servers wearing beanies. 100% hipster all day everyday. The Mac Wolfie is one of the best burgers I've had in a bit. Gooey old-school American cheese.... two all beef smashed patties. Special wolfie sauce! Homemade real fries. Solid!

A group of friends recently came here for brunch while in town for a quick trip; we were able to be seated immediately at 10ish on a Sunday morning. Service was pretty straightforward; if you're looking for a lot of banter with your waiter, this is probably not the place for you. (Not a bad thing at all, just the vibes.)I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich - it was massive, but delicious. However, the biscuit was the real winner in my opinion! Everyone else enjoyed their. choices as well - a yogurt parfait, seasonal omelet, and a classic breakfast plate.
