Two Rivers Family Restaurant

I have been coming here over the years when visiting my brother-in-law and have never had a bad dining experience over the years. The food has consistently been well cooked and tasty and staff always friendly and welcoming. The other key item of note for me is that the prices are very reasonable especially when I compare them to Metro Detroit where I am from. Good food at good prices is hard to beat no matter where you are and for that reason I remain a loyal customer and always visit this place when in Two Rivers

A cute and quaint breakfast place featuring classic breakfast dishes. The service was quick. I got a veggie omelette which comes with hashbrowns and choice of pancakes or toast. All of it was good and the pancakes were soft and fluffy! My husband got a skillet which he liked too. This classic breakfast joint is a staple and they also serve lunch.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We showed up as the breakfast rush was getting started. The staff was doing their best to seat people and take orders. Needless to say that things were moving a bit slow. When I finally got my coffee, I ordered the hobo skillet. This is bacon, ham, green peppers, onions, shredded cheese, and 2 eggs (I ordered mine scrambled) served in a skillet over hashbrowns. I also ordered the whole wheat toast, which comes with the meal. There was a considerable wait before my meal came out. Other customers who arrived after us were getting their meals before us. When I got my skillet, I realized the toast was not whole wheat. I didn't want to add to stress that the staff was under, so I accepted it as no big deal. The skillet itself was very good. I wish there would have been more hashbrowns, but what I got was adequate. I'd like to come back when they aren't crazy busy, maybe for lunch or dinner.

Love this place. Staff is friendly. Owner is friendly. Food is served promptly and is in large portions. Price of food is reasonable. They have a Sunday breakfast buffet. It's always packed which is always a good sign. The owner remodeled so the restaurant looks a lot more updated and modern. Great place to have a meal with family and friends. Large parking lot or park on the street.

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant over many years. I no longer drive so haven't been there in the past two or three yesrs.

The food is excellent ‼still reasonably priced, especially as a senior, the staff are super efficient and know nearly everybody's name, I have never had a bad meal in this excellent restaurant and it's super clean.

A Gem of Two Rivers for breakfast. Great food. Great prices. Amazing service - no matter how busy they are people are taken care of swiftly and with a smile.

After reading Lady Remington and Jack's reviews, my wife and I decided to patronize this place for a late breakfast. We waited a couple of minutes for someone to seat us; but it was all very busy, so we sat at the first booth. Within a minute a pleasant waitress asked us if we wanted drinks...yes please, coffee and orange juice. I was attracted to this place due to reviews and perusing their menu. The menu is ovolacto friendly. Instead of ordering a breakfast special that includes meat, dishes were offered without. If you want to add ham, bacon or some other carrion, you can add it for extra cost. I've been to places that if you ask for no meat, you pay for the meat anyways.I had an omelet, my wife had a bowl of some kind. Our food came in decent time. Wow, the portions were prodigious. Also came with two pretty good pancakes. We enjoyed our breakfasts a lot. We usually eat our breakfasts at home or at our three regular places. I think we might have just added number five. We had a nice experience here. Our waitress was on the mark and checked on us at regular intervals. Wore a nice smile the whole time.Bottom line, if you're looking for a well made breakfast, or anything else, it would behoove you check this traditional café out. Just bring your appetite because you're going to get full. I guarantee it!

DO NOT COME HERE AND ORDER THE CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST WITH STRAWBERRIES if you are at all interested in losing weight. When Becky, our very friendly, delightful waitress brought out our breakfast, I thought "I'll eat only two of the four pieces."As you've already guessed, the next thing I knew I was scrapping the last little bits of strawberries, French toast, and whipped cream from my plate. As other reviews have said, the place is very clean, lots of selections on the menu, quick service, and reasonable prices. The only drawback is I'll need to walk a good part of the way back to Chicago in order to work off those calories.

We came to the area on vacation and stumbled across this place for lunch. We returned twice more for breakfast. Food was great, service was great! We highly recommend it for anyone in the area.
