Growing up here and coming back occasionally, I don't remember Portage ever having a good coffee shop.So, since I've been back a couple times this year, I've been wanting to stop here. Finally did today and I can say it's pretty good!The inside is nice and quaint. We came in pretty early so it wasn't busy at all.I got the cappuccino which is solid. It's as good as I'd expect a cappuccino to be. My cousin got something with honey lavender and caramel. Said it was good.Overall, I'm glad to are portage having a solid coffee place.

A bit pricey for the quality. I've had better lattes for cheaper. The staff was nice though and the building was cute.

Excellent latte made perfectly the biscotti was the best I ever had and the people were friendly. A recipe for a successful business.

this place was amazing! the barista (Poly didn't entirely catch her name) was so so so sweet and accommodating. i thought my latte was too sweet so i asked for a little more espresso and she went above and beyond to make sure i liked my coffee by adding another shot and then proceeded to make me a new one! she was so sweet and if i wasn't from out of town i'd be a regular here

This is the BEST little coffee shop! It rivals those that might be found in Madison. The coffee is roasted in house and much of it is organic and of superior quality. I always get cold brew, which has a wonderfully full taste and doesn't have that burnt flavor like the beans offered at inferior coffee spots. I absolutely love that they have coconut milk, which is rather unheard-of in most places. I can get my coffee here just as I would make it at home, which is made with Two Rivers' house-roasted beans of course! I do not however, have iced coffee ice cubes at my house as they do here. Um, AMAZING!! Talk about going the extra mile for their coffee people! Beyond the excellent coffee and accoutrements they have here, the place is tastefully and minimally decorated. It's perfect for bringing a friend to chat with or your laptop to get some work done. The best part: it's located in historic downtown Portage and is family owned and operated. It's owned by the nicest young couple of whom will be your friends in no time! These guys make it!Support this wonderful family and give the historic downtown your business by enjoying an absolutely superb cup of coffee! (Or three if you're anything like me.)

Clean, Quiet Atmosphere, Great Food and Quick Service. Great place to read a book and drink tea or coffee.

This is a super nice little coffee shop with really nice people who own it. I stopped in a little before opening time and walked up to the door. It was locked. I almost walked back to my truck but they ran up to the door and opened up just for me. My cappuccino was made perfectly and the blueberry muffin was amazing! I had mentioned that I would be stopping at the gas station down the street after my coffee. Well, I didn't realize it but I had left my credit card in the card reader. The owner actually got in his car and drove down the road to gas station and caught me before I drove away! That was so cool and totally unexpected! Thanks you guys!

If you're looking for the coffee place that makes you feel cozy and welcome, then this is the place to go. In Portage, there tends to be a lot of the typical diner type establishments. This coffee shop is the place to go if you want to meet a friend, not feel like you have to "be one of the locals, need a place to chill or need a place to study. Cozy place, friendly staff, and great drinks and treats!

You can tell when a business takes great pride in themselves. The coffee and food was delicious, and the presentation, atmosphere, decoration and service is amongst the best I've ever seen, and I travel a great deal. Good choice for coffee, I'd be willing to travel from Baraboo to have this coffee. Two thumbs up! Thanks!

I stop at this place whenever I am nearby! We are picky about coffee and theirs is delicious- excellent espresso- and the baked goods are fabulous. They offer all types of coffee drinks and a variety of alternative milk options. They also serve bagels, cookies, scones, cake, doughnuts... the list goes on. These items appear to be homemade and I truly can't say enough about how tasty everything is. We also buy coffee beans here to take home and they brew up nicely. Customer service is very friendly and efficient and it's a cute little spot. I would recommend this place to anyone!
