Great hidden find, fun place to see and food was great. Brian work his butt off. His waiter call in sick so our party of ten did what we could to help. Fun time!

My reviews are normally about food. This is about restaurant service and how not to treat customers. Walked in with spouse for early dinner on a Saturday evening. Stood for ten minutes about 3 feet from bar. Two waitresses recognized we had entered. Bartender had one customer at the counter. The two waitresses decided their conversation was more important than offering us a place to sit. Owner should have serious discussion with staff on how not to treat people. Would be willing to edit review with an apology and explanation. Would never return to a restaurant which clearly does not value customer service in its most basic form...recognizing its guests.Twisted indeed! St. Paul's fish market wanted my 145$ more I guess's

I recently dined at Twisted Fisherman, and it exceeded my expectations! The location by the river offers a stunning view, which adds a fantastic ambiance to the entire dining experience. The seafood was fresh and flavorful - I highly recommend the crab legs! The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a great spot with a relaxed vibe, Twisted Fisherman is the place to be. I'll definitely be back soon!

Bar hopping by boat is FAR better than bar hopping by foot!During an evening of cruising the Milwaukee River, Twisted Fisherman was our first stop! With ample docks to tie up the boat, an extensive outdoor patio along with indoor seating, rustic costal chic decor, large bar, we felt right at home as soon as we walked in!The 8 of us bellied up to the bar, ordered a variety of cocktails and interacted with the bartender - who was extremely friendly. Although we didn't stay for dinner, the extensive menu looked and sounded delicious - seafood, steaks, crisp salads and more - a perfect taste of the coast! When back in MKE, I'd easily return!

Twisted Fisherman never disappoints. The atmosphere is loose and fun and the decor helps bring it all together. The menu is primarily sea food oriented, this their name, but the chicken wings are excellent, along with the pulled pork sandwich for those desiring not sea food fare. They make a good cocktail and the barkeeps, Mike and Brian, are sure to engage you with you a friendly welcome and great service. Twisted has an awesome outdoor sitting area when weather permits and also have "igloo" surrounds for not completely agreeable weather for quaint sitting for two, or small group. Pass this place by is only at your loss for a jewel, that after visiting, you'll be bringing many of your friend to. Hang out and have fun time!

Super good dinner at twisted fisherman last night! Honestly felt like I was on vacation in Florida when I walked in and it was such a vibe. We had great service and the food was awesome too! I had the blackened salmon with fries and coleslaw. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and had a crispy crust. The coleslaw was interesting with green apple slices in it and the fries were pretty yummy too! I'd love to try again before the weather gets cold. The cocktails also looked amazing and want to try the crab legs as well! Definitely recommend for a cheap and easy seafood option in Milwaukee!

WOW is the only word to describe this restaurant's atmosphere. The service was wonderful with a very attentive wait staff. The food is pretty solid with good portion sizes. The physical atmosphere of the place is outstanding. It is located right on the river and it has lawn chairs and seating and a sandy beach atmosphere. It is definitely worth stopping in if even to just have a beer. You will love it.

Went here for a buffet lunch with a group. Probably not the occasion to sample the food (Tilapia, chicken, carrots, broccoli, beans, and a salad), but it was decent and filling. Clearly a place, when the crowds commence, it's going to be screaming time, and the acoustics won't allow a conversation. When the weather is good, however, the outdoor tables on the deck above the Menomonee River create a special setting, although on Friday nights the ample beers might make you believe it's Nirvana, even if you don't understand anything anyone says. Milwaukee's venues on water are few and far between, so I'd come back with the right weather and the right time.

The service was good Crab cakes were very good. I had the chicken Alfredo , I enjoyed it My wife had the crab legs and she was happy Nice out door seating gave it great ambiance.

The staff and under the tent tables were great and the food for 18 people was excellent! We ended up here when our original choice of venue was "unavailable!?" We are so glad we did and this will be our first choice for a group or date dining due to quality staff giving us great service and delicious food.
