Twisted Burger - Vernon Hills

I've been to Twisted Burger Grayslake before but it was my first time coming to the VH location. I have to say it is much cleaner and spacious. Service was quick and easy. I got the large fries and shroom burger. That burger truly hit the spot! It was cooked to perfection. I forgot how big the order of fries are so next time I would get the smaller size for two people. You can't beat the prices or quality here. Happy to see their business expanding!

This place was awesome. The service was fast. The server was friendly. The restaurant had plenty of seating and seemed to fill up around lunch time. The portion sizes were large for the price. I've been to twister burger in a different location and I wanted to see how this would compare. They had a variety of burgers to choose from. I got my favorite burger, black widow 2 burger. It came out saucy and delicious. My burger was sweet, savory, and spicy all in one. I loved it! The garlic Parmesan fries were tasty. We finished our meal with shakes. The shakes were okay. Seemed like everyone was buying some sort of ice tea. Will need to try the ice tea when I go back next time.

We came back to try new things! Superman regular size milkshake-- tastes like cotton candy! Creamy and light throughout even after sitting in the fridge. El Zorro burger-- this was really good. There's a beef patty under the chorizo, so the chorizo flavor wasn't overpowering. Sauce is also not overpowering and not greasy. The large fries is definitely pretty large. The cuts are of potato without additional coating before frying so the flavor is of potato itself and added seasoning afterwards. I prefer it this way since the oil soaked ones are soft and delicious, but my kiddos prefer more crispy and crunchy end pieces. The Baja fish naan is still our favorite. Because of the loaded fresh veggies. Would come back to this local POC owned establishment to try more of their shakes and burgers!

What a gem in VH! Loved the burgers and fries at Twisted Burger. A variety of different burgers to choose from that rivals places like Red Robin. We got the Cali burger which had avocado and bacon and I'm forgetting the name now but one with a fried egg and bacon. The buns on the burger were so good (I think they're brioche buns from Turano) - soft with a good bite. And the loaded fries we got were also delicious with green onions, bacon bits, cheese, and some sour cream. I learned that the fries are made in-house not bought frozen and pre-cut. Next time, I would just get regular fries bc they're so good as is! Would love to go back to try the smoothies. Everything seems to be made with care and quality at Twisted Burger and can't wait to go back.

I love finding new places that serve all the foods that my basic kids will eat, while also giving my husband and I the freedom to still eat a delicious meal.The black-n-blue burger was yummy. The burger patty was not so thick that it was hard to eat. I like that they have many options for burger toppings. We also had the loaded fries, which was a little much with the burger (I was really hungry when I ordered).The kids really enjoyed their meals - Kraft mac and cheese, chicken tenders and grilled cheese. Everything they could have hoped for in a meal.

Great burgers. The Farm Burger was a pretty good size. I also got the buffalo chicken fries, pretty good and very large for just the small size. The chicken on it was dry and reheated, but the fries itself were great. Service wasn't very friendly and it took quite a bit to prepare our food despite being the only ones there. Regardless, the food is above average at a good price. Would recommend.

Local small burger place in VH with plenty of seating and friendly cashier. I got the Superman burger and the parmesan fries. The portions are enormous for the price. My Superman burger was tasty but super messy to eat. Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned.

I'm always up for a good burger and other Yelpers seem to like Twisted Burger so I had to give it a try. It is an unremarkable space in a tiny corner strip mall. Inside it was very clean which I always appreciate. The man at the register who took my order was pleasant and he welcomed me in warmly. So far so good. As for the food, I ordered the El Zorro burger with chorizo, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. It was a tasty burger if someone monotextural. It could have used a nice crunchy onion or pickle to give it a little texture but other than that it was a good burger. They obviously take pride in the appearance of the food they serve as the burger looked on the plate the way burgers are always shown in advertising but never in reality. This was a great looking burger too. So kudos to Twisted Burger for making their food look good too! I also had a small fries and a large drink. It was plenty of food and a pretty decent value compared to many fast food places. Pro tip: the small fries are still big. Don't hesitate to share an order if dining with a friend.

We came here at closing time for dinner after shopping in the area. The staff was nice enough to let us eat inside after they closed.I had a cheeseburger which was large (probably 1/3 pound) on a fresh bun with juicy tomato, lettuce and pickles. It was even better than Five Guys or Meatheads. My wife got a California Grilled Chicken sandwich which was similarly tasty. The large fries were a very generous portion on par with the kind you'd get at Chili's. They didn't appear to be fresh-cut as they lacked potato skin on the ends and didn't taste particularly exciting.Service at the counter was excellent and they brought our freshly prepared food to the table. The restaurant is clean and extremely casual; decor is basic and sparse. Portions are obviously generous and prices very competitive.I would give the place 5 stars were it not for the fact that they started cleaning the floor and grill in the kitchen while we were still eating. The odor of disinfectant, probably Fabuloso Cleaner, was disturbing but it was really my fault for coming late.I'll be back for the food, just not after closing time.

My first time frequenting this establishment. Loved everything from the amazing food to the friendly staff and ambience. Can't wait to try all of the delicious items on their menu.
